Better than last week, something keeps making me come back but I don't really know what. I think it's just seeing Buffy Summers trying to outwit Richard Alpert.

Yeah. I think it's more of a portrayal on the fact that Bridgit has no idea how to be fashionable in a rich world.

I love the show too. I am not sure exactly why, but I am totally enthralled by the plot lines they are setting up.

This is sort of campy (everything Shaobhan, the whole twin thing really) yet a thriller (dead bodies, being on the run, trying balance identities) at the same time. I'm waiting to see where this goes.

edit: so that was the crazy bitch from dexter right?

I rolled my eyes so hard when I saw Lillah from Dexter playing Olivia. I was immediately thinking "great, now you get in the middle of ANOTHER relationship."

I'm...not really sure what to make of this episode. It's a completely different feel from the pilot, almost a different show. To say it's worse or better may be a polarizing opinion, I'm on the fence though.

As far as the presentation of the episode, it's better than last week in that the episode wasn't as convoluted with a series of clips that felt awkward in flow. This week's pacing was better.

As far as the actual story, Bridget's not the smartest cookie. Her motivation of trying to escape whoever's killing her is trifled by the fact that she stayed to help organize the company event at the loft only to be decently resolved by her wanting to stay and help her impromptu self-daughter's addiction problems as a throwback to her past with Siohbhan not being there to help her.

Additionally, Bridget's boring as hell. Buffy was not even the most interesting person on Buffy, but she at least had quips and kicked ass. Here, I just can't feel for the character that much. Fortunately, Carbonell's and Gruffodd's remedy the situation somewhat as being decent secondary characters but it's still kind of meh.

With that said, I did like the dead body thing - sort of. I mean, they threw in weird things like the cell phone on the body as a plot twist (I like that they're writing her into corners to get out of but that wasn't that great of one). But the episode should've had more plot than the trunk thing particularly because it's only the second episode. Move the plot forward more [but not like last week's where it was jumbled] while fleshing the characters out - these guys can't all revolve around Bridget and no, the red-headed BFF with her husband's fidelity issues is not a good side plot for fuck's sake.

Like I said last week, I'll be tuning in for a few more episodes. I sort of like this show as a mind-turner-offer, I didn't expect it to be groundbreaking. It appears to be hitting its stride a little bit, but it also seems to be starting over and very non-subtle in finding its feet to the extent of changing the show almost completely from last week (except the stupid CW music).

There's little things that sort of intrigue me, like Bridget eyeing the circular saw as a solution to the dead body problem. Makes me think she's more fucked up than I thought.

I do like next week's promo with the ringer. Get it? 'Cause that's the name of the show and nevermind.

But yeah, this is not the SMG show we wanted so far. Disappointed but I sort of want it to not be cancelled out of fear that we'll never see SMG for another 8 years.

I kind of wish they would switch off episodes. An episode of Brigidit, and episode of Sibohan (I have no idea how to spell either of their names.)

I watched the pilot and part of tonight's episode. Its just horrible. So horrible. I know SMG is better than this. I don't know why she's wasting her time on something so pointless. (You know its going to be canceled!) She needs to get in a good HBO series or start up a new one. I hate that the Wonderful Maladys fell through.

And boy, I've got to point it out, she's starting to look really bad around the eyes. She looks so tired and raggedy. :\

I honestly don't know if I can keep up with this show much longer. This episode was all types of weird for me and any hint of interest I had in the show from the pilot has been taken away with this episode. Come on, the body and hiding it in the loft for a whole day and even during the party?

The only thing I liked about this episode was the use of flashbacks to learn at least a little bit more about Siobhan and Bridget. I'd want more of that if anything and less of these contrived high stakes scenarios.

I have few thoughts about the episode....

I think they were trying to present the hiding-the-body-in-the-trunk with an air of comedy around it, the large man goes to sit on it, then she is mopping up some leakage around it, and then the mobile phone starts ringing inside the trunk. I wasn't expecting that they would add a bit of humour around it!

The girl in me is loving all the dresses and clothes on SMG. I just find myself looking forward to what she will dress up in next.

At the very end, when Siobhán finds out that her sister has cleaned out her emergency bank account, do you think she is really planning to have Bridget killed off?

Siobhan's objective is to have Bridget substitute as her to be killed instead by whoever is trying to kill Siobhan.

So yes.
