Bit of a non sequitur here…..But have You ever seen a footballer intentionally and hatefully hard tackle another player’s legs/ feet with such immense force?- then after the melee-THEY go into full acting mode for the referee, rolling around in apparent pain - pretending that somehow the other player’s shins were at fault for hurting their spiked shoes- and expect the Ref to send off the other player.

I like your sentiment a lot but please think about the fact that your (op‘s) title seriously diminishes the real suffering of real people killed and burnt alive. People. Regardless of sides or birthplace or religion or anything else, innocent civilians are dying needlessly.

I think it's a case of fatigue from all the suffering.
