The US can't compete with the Chinese EV market and they know it so they've whacked a 100% tariff on them. Believers in free market capitalism until they're losing

Communist China has freer markets than capitalist USA.

So if we take your claim at face value then, what you're saying is that it's just a capitalist state that's orders of magnitude better at capitalism than the USA. Would that not be a reason enough to "simp", for a supporter of capitalism?

Or is it not capitalist either, or the wrong type of capitalism?

In the last few years the US has been spooked by Chinese mobile, chips and EVs.

The US admitting that it's too weak to compete and retreating by shielding itself with protectionist rules hidden behind an excuse of "national security". This will only make it weaker and weaker, the protected companies will have even less incentive to be innovate and be competitive.

I think US got especially spooked in 2020, when they realized very little the people actually need &/or buy is produced in the US. Just wait till they understand how many industries have been consolidated at 70% or more by mere hand fulls of corporations.

It's believable cuz even Elon Musk's Tesla vehicles have technology in it that allows the company to spy on you

Yeah it's all possible but even if these things came out with open firmware and software they'd just find another excuse.

I read somewhere that the value of the immense amount of data these things suck up is the real prize.

Xia xia, your account name tells for yourself. What in the heck is sinophobia, I'm not afraid of Chinese people. I just do not think the CCP represent real Sino culture. Please be more considerate on your next reply to the next unfortunate prey of your feeble ploy.
