🇺🇸 AmeriKKKa In North Korea, the people are brainwashed into fervent support for an anti-democratic genocidal cult of personality.

She’s actually not my president (until Joe Biden passes away his presidential duties in the next 6 months)

The Republican and Democratic Parties (more so the Republican in recent years) have been personality cults for years, with different people being venerated/apotheosised into godlike figures. It’s just more noticeable now because of the internet and social media. Trump wishes that America was a dictatorship like Russia/China/North Korea/Etc. because he could just do whatever he wanted. And he wouldn’t have to appear in court for paying an adult film actress hush money.

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Neither Russia, China nor the DPRK are "Dictatorships". This is American propaganda.

All three are democracies. The USA is not a democracy.

5

u/HappyMike91 Aug 08 '24

How are Russia, China and North Korea democracies?

America is an oligarchy with delusions of being a republic, not a democracy.

-2

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

How are Russia, China and North Korea democracies?

Their leaders are elected. Their candidates for election are elected.

Kamala Harris for example has never received a single vote.

3

u/stug_life Aug 08 '24

I mean yeah she hasn’t received a single vote, she’s a candidate for president not the actual president.

6

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

And by what democratic process did she become candidate?

I don't root for any presidential candidate of the USA. I hope they all lose. It really doesn't matter anyway, they're just figureheads.

Pick anything I post about America. There's no difference between the parties.

1

u/ZealousidealFloor2 Aug 08 '24

People vote for the US president and it’s a bit much to claim it isn’t a democracy if you are labelling China, Russia and NK as democracies.

4

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

People are given a choice of two people to vote for, people with virtually identical policies that are chosen by oligarchs, whose names you don't know.

Why aren't they democracies? The US told you to think that?

-2

u/HappyMike91 Aug 08 '24

Their leaders are elected from the party (in the case of China and North Korea). There also haven’t been free and fair elections in Russia for a good few years.

7

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Their leaders are elected from...

This is called democracy. It may not be your preferred flavour. Hell, the US version is very different from Ireland's for example, but it's still democracy.

There also haven’t been free and fair elections in Russia for a good few years.

Says the USA. There were elections a few months back and people doing exit polls in France of Russians voting in their droves found similar demographic support as was eventually reported in Russia.

On balance and considering their history of lies, I'm not going to believe the US on anything here.

2

u/HappyMike91 Aug 08 '24

Do you consider one party states democracies?

10

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

That depends on the state. China for example has 8 parties, but is described by western propaganda as a one party state. If you feel like reading the procedural documents outlining their democratic process then here's a link. It’s a bit lengthy I will admit but the highlights are things like publicly funded elections, no private bribery like we see in the west. Elections can be triggered by just 50 voters. All it takes to get nominated to be elected is just 10 people to support you. I think they do a good job at improving voter efficacy than in capitalist countries.

Democratic Centralism is a key component in Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. It’s what made sure Xi Jinping had over 40 years of political and executive experience at all levels of government before becoming President.

In "democratic societies" like the United States, "democracy" plays out more like a popularity contest. The people may want healthcare and housing, but they’ll vote based on whose face they see more often on the telly.

This interactive website from CGTN does a great job showing the layout of the party, how the party interacts with the state, and why Democratic Centralism works so well for the Chinese people.

u/HappyMike91 Aug 08 '24

Why does only one political party in China govern if there are 8 political parties?

6

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Because that's what keeps the people in power. Otherwise China would just be another western style bourgeoisie democracy that exists primarily to service the capitalist class. Like in Ireland today.

So the Russians were in France preventing people from voting somehow?

4

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

You can read the comments above. We were talking about the Russians in France being indicative of the pro Putin sentiment.

In Ireland likewise our media controls the candidates and the masses. Western democracy is bullshit as much here as it is in Russia.

What a weird post to make

9

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Why so?

-7

u/InfectedAztec Aug 08 '24

Posting a video of some lad partying a little too hard and reacting to an image of Harris for propaganda purposes. It's weird dude.

7

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

I didn't see any lad. There's a whole dance hall full of people?

0

u/InfectedAztec Aug 08 '24

Who are just dancing minding their own business. I see the lad over react to Harris and one other person shout 'that's my president'. What point were you trying to make. Maybe I misunderstood.

11

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

That if this was the DPRK you'd have a major issue with it.

7

u/InfectedAztec Aug 08 '24

A north korean lad in scant clothing partying quite hard in a bar in North Korea screaming when a picture of Kim goes on the screen? And a woman shouts 'that's my president' in Korean. Is that the illustration you're trying to paint?

5

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Now you're just repeating yourself.

Do you deny that US presidential elections rely on massive campaigns of fake news and psyops to inculcate their people with a frenzy of cult of personality?

Do you deny that this is a common racist stereotype of the DPRK?

9

u/InfectedAztec Aug 08 '24

Now you're just repeating yourself.

Only because I'm trying to understand your post. I saw 2 people, likely very inebriated, over reacting to kamala in the video. Everyone else just looked like they were minding their own business and enjoying the music or vibes or whatever. I'm really not seeing the parralels between US pop culture, people drinking in a bar and North Korea. Especially regarding election season.

10

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

over reacting to kamala

What was happening with Kamala and why?

Is this a government operated nightclub?

4

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

It's probably operated as a deep state Trumpist psyop gotcha. That dry ice? Yep. Pure chemtrail.

2

u/Dame2Miami Aug 08 '24

Probably just vape chemtrails

You are free to leave the US not North Korea

11

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

The US has a quarter of the entire world's prison population.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

20 percent* ,they have the 6th highest incarceration rate in the world

3

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Thought it was up to 25% at this point.

-6

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

This doesn’t counter the fact you are free to leave the US

4

u/King-Sassafrass 😪 Everyone I disagree with is a Nazi Aug 08 '24

That actually does. If 20% of the worlds population is incarcerated, those people are actually not allowed to leave. Your stripped of all of your rights, including to vote and to travel, so no, they aren’t “free to leave”

0

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

It’s not 20% of the worlds population it’s 20% of the incarcerated population

4

u/King-Sassafrass 😪 Everyone I disagree with is a Nazi Aug 08 '24

Regardless it’s still alot of people who are having their rights stripped away

3

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

Some deserve it, not all but a fair amount do, wrongful imprisonment is awful, + the practical slave labour, US prison system has lots of problems

4

u/King-Sassafrass 😪 Everyone I disagree with is a Nazi Aug 08 '24

Well yeah but the majority of them really don’t deserve what they got

-1

u/Unusual_Elk6320 Aug 09 '24

There's no "regardless" when it comes to facts. Stop spreading misinformation. A simple search or basic math would've told you those numbers are incorrect. America is like 5% of the world's population. That's a massive difference you can't just shrug off.

3

u/King-Sassafrass 😪 Everyone I disagree with is a Nazi Aug 09 '24

That’s right, there is no regardless

A lot of People’s rights are being stripped away

2

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

Yeah it does.

0

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

HOW less then .5% of the US population is in prison

2

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

1

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '24

If 1.8 million people are in jail out of 333 million that would be right around .5% of the population that’s math

4

u/CautiousListen5914 Aug 08 '24

I don't understand. Of all of the people in prison right now in the world. 20-25% of them are in the USA. This is not a controversial claim or anything.
