Discussion New Youtube Series: 1 Hour of Coding in 1 Minute - Feedback Welcomed!
Hey everyone im starting a new YouTube series where i condense an hour of coding into just one minute. The goal is to show the process of creating projects quickly and engagungly but without dragging things out.
Youtube Link: https://youtu.be/dXljs-eWn3E
The first video covers an hour of work on a Python project where i start and finish a program from scratch. My plan is to release more of these, gradually increasing the time spent coding, like "2 Hours of Coding in 2 Minutes", and so on.
So any and all feedback is appreciated as i also want this Youtube channel to serve as proof to potential employers that i know what im doing and im also very passionate about it in ways where im happy to learn to further increase my knowledge.
Thanks for checking it out if your reading this im looking forward to hearing your thouhgts

You don't state anywhere what's the app, what's the goal, what you want to showcase. There is no source code linked (like to Github). The code is also relatively simple, not showing much aside from using few libraries - just writing code, not showcasing a good/smart implementation of a trick feature/good practice etc.
So it's yet another generic YT channel. There are zylions of such videos and all of them are on dead channels ;)

Ok thanks for that info then I’m currently in da process of finish creating my GitHub, so once it’s done I will be getting things like dat setup, and also it’s not my main video series imma be uploading it you look on my other videos I’m talking about my progress and and the challenges and projects I made in the little time I been coding, a lot of people done showed me some support to. But I also plan on making videos about my main projects like a vulnerability scanner in working on and also a botnet and a network sniffer. But I will be keeping that it mind though, sorry for the bad experience on it bro. I love the feedback though thank you 🙏🏿🔥

YouTube isn't the best platform, and I would say it's not worth it. Better to work on your own skills, get a good job and start a good career and learn even more.
There is no demand for 10000 video about network sniffers, "scanners" etc. It's all over the web, all just uses available libraries. You spend hours on stuff that is away from what's needed to get a good job and is also far away what could interest other developers.

Yea bro I completely understand what u saying but I’m not tryna make it out of life on YouTube I’m already in college going for my computer science degree I started this channel to document my progress and also to put up polished videos about projects that I start and complete like my vulnerability scanner that is very useful in the field I’m going for which is to be a network engineer. But i appreciate the info and eveything. The projects I’m working on strictly involve networking like packet analysis and manipulation and working with sockets on a lower level so it just depends on the field ur going in for me that’s perfect since Im directly in the networking fields it’s literally just adding on to my experience. But as always I honestly really appreciate the feedback though thank you 💪🏿🔥

You won't get any money from YouTube. Good video editing takes time and some skills and you could put that time to something better. Blog is way better for code than video.

Oh ok intresting I never thought about blog besides posting my daily updates on Twitter I’ll starting doing that then and just keep YouTube strictly for posting my well done projects so my professors cna see then. Do u recommend a specific platform i only use Twitter for the moment.

Github Pages, Cloudflare Pages. Pick up a static site generator like 11ty and work on a static web page/blog... Or just use hosted blog on like dev.to

Since you're a programmer, wanted to point out you can use a browser extension to 'copy link as markdown' and then post your comment in markdown mode - it's much nicer that way.

The goal is to show the process of creating projects...
I think it misses the goal. While watching the video it is not possible to figure out what your process is. I gave up before the full minute as it completely failed to hold my interest. I hope you find this feedback useful.

I don't see how that is useful to anyone. Some bad music playing while you write code at hyperspeed and click things isn't educational or compelling to watch. I have absolutely no idea what you were even trying to build.
