Discussion Project 2025 will be one of the most disasterous efforts to crumble our American democracy. Fight back against it by primarying every establishment candidate, Democrat or Republican, from now until 2028. The fight starts today, with your small dollar donation.

How about creating a viable political party in America that these candidates can campaign to win primaries for instead of trying to edge Democrats which only solidifies the GOP's position and moves it further to the right?

In other words, stop playing spoiler to Dems and start taking out the far right wing that literally begins representing Americans 100% across the federal government and most states in 2025.

All Bernie and the Revolution has accomplished in eight years is raising a shit ton of money out of the pockets of America's poorest half (for what??) to install a far right wing theocracy in America.

I'm not congratulating anyone here.

For the last eight years, we have kept the flame burning for American progressive politics. We have helped to elect candidates across the nation, from city council members to state representatives.

If all you ever look at is the burnt forest, you will not notice the new growth underneath.

That new ground better heal quickly because there may not be free and fair elections in the United States again. It's all worth it though since Hillary gave a speech to a Goldman-Sachs audience fifteen years ago as SoS. Who needed a democracy after that, right?

I actually see project 2025 as a good thing for Democrats or independents. Not for what it entails but for the precedent it sets. If the right can dismantle so many established things there is no reason the left can't do the same. If widespread changes do happen there is no reason we can't do the same in 4 years. Things on the table for decades like getting rid of the electoral college could actually happen. If Trump can change so many things with his backers there's no reason we can't do the same.
