Humor It's almost like it's not a "both sides" issue. 🙄

I'm not mad. I'm happy. I hope they get everything they voted for. Maybe after they suffer they'll learn. Failure is the greatest teacher.
This is cause for celebration, not a riot.Â

Agreed. I curbed my accelerationism for this election, but now that's we've lost every branch of government, we're just along for the ride.
The first time in a long time that republicans are inheriting an economy that they won't want to take credit for.
I'll be pushing for reform and change 4-8 years from now during Trump's presidency, but otherwise, it's just sitting back and watching the ship sink as we are now powerless to help save the new regime.
This is the political equivalent of a dad tossing their child in the pool to learn how to swim. Trial by fire baby.

I don't know if you're a parent or not, but in my 15 years of it there has been more than one occasion where my child has challenged, argued against, and ignored my guidance to the point where I've just said "ok", stepped back, and left them fail.Â
This is going to be at least two years of that moment (midterm elections), because as you said we're "just a long for the ride".
I'm a straight white man that's fourth generation in this country. I'll be alright. Good luck to the rest of you.

I'm a Japanese-Korean-Mexican man in my late 20's who has no children. I was a school bus driver for highschool and elementary for a while though, so I know how kids can be. It's going to be interesting for sure to see how things go.
My brother in law voted for Trump it seems off his texts to me. He told me to stay optimistic and how I may be "pleasantly surprised by some of the things in the next 4 years".
I'll be "pleasantly surprised" if/when they get an inkling about Trump that the rest of us know.

So you've not calculated how many innocents will suffer (and probably die) as a result of this mindset?

Just wait...
As Sun Tsu said, if you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by you.

Trump people around me literally took down signs they were so afraid. Man it must suck being afraid all the times.Â

We should be rioting at the DNC… 3rd time in a row you let the donors pick the candidate.

There were protests at the DNC. Coverage was there. Dems blew every opportunity to win because they aren't capable
