Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Why we boycott with Boycat
- Beyond Media Silence: Keep Palestine in Focus
Global attention on Palestine often fades when news cycles move on, allowing injustices to continue in the shadows. By providing a platform that continually highlights brands complicit in the occupation and human rights violations, Boycat empowers each individual to sustain pressure on complicit companies long after the headlines have shifted.
- Visibility for Ethical Alternatives Supporting Palestine
Palestinians face systemic oppression, and many ethical alternatives to mainstream brands remain hidden from view, especially those supporting Palestinian rights. Boycat’s mission is to amplify these alternatives, giving ethically-aligned brands a platform to reach conscious consumers.
- Breaking Old Habits and Rebuilding a Conscious Economy
Supporting Palestine means actively challenging old habits. Boycat helps users transition away from companies profiting from occupation by offering clear, easy alternatives that promote justice.
The Road Ahead: Boycat’s Vision
It’s not just about avoiding harmful companies; it’s about actively supporting a global movement that prioritizes justice for all, especially those who have been silenced for far too long.
Thanks for joining us in this journey,

I use the no thanks app. The more apps that help people not fund the Jewish supremacist regime the better.

I use Boycat, No Thanks, and Disoccupied. Whatever it takes to make sure my money doesn't go to the occupiers.

Boycat crashes my phone completely (forces restart) 1/3 times using it, so I had to get rid of it, unfortunately

You can generally find out if a company supports the occupation by looking it up or using AI. Especially if it's something you get on a regular basis, then it's even better for you to look it up instead of using boycat to better understand how a company is involved.

Seems like their android app hangs at a gray screen for me every time I scan a barcode that matches the boycott list.

I have Google Pixel 8 Pro, Android 15 (problem also happened on Android 14), the app was always up to date.
When I opened the app, it would roughly crash and restart my phone, 1 out of 3 times

Hi OP! Want to know, where do you get your sources and from how does the app dictate whether to boycott a certain brand or not?

Couldn't you make a website instead? I hate having to download an app for everything.

Sorry to hijack this post but is this better than No Thanks? What are the differences and why should I go with one over the other?
