I want to build a collection of PS3 exclusives. Suggestions?

Just got the steelbook editions of Killzone 3 and Dante’s Inferno. Also waiting for infamous 1 and 2, and Resistance 1,2,3 😌

Back in the day, I used to borrow accounts to play because I was just a kid. Now I want to build a full collection of exclusives - any recommendations for some hidden gems?

That is vastly overstating things. It's comparable in quality to the first two GOWs.

And this is not a problem? The game came out in 2010 in the same year as gow 3 came out. And in quality, equals the ps2 games, but wait, this is not true, because the game is tired out after 4-5 ours, end give you a boring challenging section, like gow, but in gow, this is just a plus section outside the main game...

I don't think you can fairly compare it to GOW3, which had the second largest budget for any PS3 game up to that point at 44M dollars. Only GTA4 and RDR were more expensive from what I can find online

Anyway Visceral directly hired designers from GOW2, including the lead level designer Michael Cheng (lead level designer on the new GOWs too) who did every stage in DI. It's not like it's just some fan project ripoff, it has actual DNA of the series that inspired it

The problem is buying them for anything less than almost 600 for 1-3 and then 4 and for answer are absurdly expensive

If you haven’t played it yet then your in for such a great game!!

I recommend playing this game at night, all the lights off and some volume for the whole experience haha.

The Darkness and The Darkness II aren't PS3-exclusive, they both released on the Xbox 360 as well. But they are fun games, you should check them out.

Little Big Planet 1/2, God of War 1-3, Uncharted series, last of us (some of these are on PC now/ps4) pretty much any of the HD Collections of PS2 games are also great

I’m doing the same thing. I got a ‘stuck on ps3’ collection. I do have games that also happen to be on 360 but they exclusive tho that generation. It’s fun

I would recommend getting the mainstream classics and collections, such as ratchet and clank, infamous, sly cooper, the other killzone games, and then dive into the games such as folklore and more japan releases.

I know you want exclusives and I read you have a PS5 and PC as well. I strongly advise you get only games you know you really wanted to play and miss out on. I went through my nostalgia phase with the PS3 and while I appreciated I noticed the hardware definitely shows it age between frame rate issues and "bad" controllers. I personally only keep my PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4, Silent Hill HD Collection, and Dante's Inferno.

Also for me, there were some games I thought I would enjoy but just couldn't because of how old the game is. Heavenly Sword for example.

With all that being said, there are plenty of recommendations in the comments section.

I’m tired from new games. Used to play new Dragon Age and it’s so boring. Also Horizon Forbidden West C But just finished first Infamous and MGS4 and it’s so cool. Yep, also it’s nostalgia- but I think it’s normal, I’m feels comfortable during this process and it’s main point here.
