ENG Guide How to maximize your Kizuna ticket pulls
Hello, I made this spreadsheet for myself sometime ago.
Its purpose is to let me see my current rate for pulling wanted items at Kizuna Box 7 and make it easier for me to decide when to reset my box7.
This is my way to maximize the efficiency of my Kizuna tickets.
The idea is; reset your box when your current pull rate is lower than your initial pull rate. This spreadsheet is making it easier to keep track of it.
I hope it will be useful to you guys.
How to use; https://i.imgur.com/H1uisHu.jpg
- First, make a copy of this spreadsheet for yourself. I advise you to use Google spreadsheets but you can also download and use it with Excel or OpenOffice etc. But if you use them, colors of Pull and Reset boxes may disappear.
- Count how many items you actually want from box 7.
- Type it to the left side "Wanted items" box. (cell "A-2")
- Type the size of the box 7 to left side "Box" (cell B-2)
- You will find your initial pull rate at cell "C-3)
- Click to "cell H-2" and modify the text from the top bar. You should change that number to your initial rate.
- Click "cell H-2" again. You should notice there will be a border at cell H2. Click and drag that border to the bottom until you reach "cell H-51" and release it. Doing this will make you apply the updated calculation to the selected cells.
This was preparation before actual use.
Using it is simple.
- Let's say you pulled 2 tablets at your first multipull when you refreshed your box 7 and your wanted items list was 39.
- Decrease your wanted items by 2. Since you pulled 2 tablets at that multipull, it makes 37. Type that number to "cell E-2". (Right beside 490 box size)
- It will show your current rate to pull and it will show you if you should keep pulling or reset your box at your next multipull.
- In this scenario, your current rate will be lower than your initial rate. So, it will show you "Reset" button.
- Keep decreasing the wanted items by how many wanted items you pulled and type it to the corresponding cell. (Corresponding cell is the left of the box size you currently have)
- When you refresh your box, delete the Wanted item numbers at the cells E-3 to E- 51. But keep the number at cell E-2. You should only type there the full amount of wanted items because its the number for full box.

This has been posted before when Kizuna first started, but always good to remind/inform people

Oh, I never saw that thread.
But I came back to the game 4 months ago after not playing for almost 2 years. So, that must be the reason why I never saw it before.

During Kizuna, I'm like "2 tablets in a multi? Reset!"

Depends on your current box-7 size and how many tablets did you get prior of your 2x tablet pull.
If you pulled 2x tablets at first or second 10 multi, your current pull rate naturally will be lower than initial pull rate.
But if you pull them in 250/500 box, your current pull rate will be different.
Also, you can chose to ignore it for few more multis. If you don't pull any tablets at next multis, your current pull rate will naturally increase.

This was a good way to use tickets before, at least for me.
Right now I seem to find only pinch-healing, provoked and bind slot the most since I have 40+ of every other tablet.
That makes me go through most of the box since the % of getting any is so low that I end up spending at least 50-100 before getting 2 of those 6 I need. And that’s when I’m lucky.

You are just unlucky. Sometimes same thing happens to me too.
This is just calculating your rate to pull something.
It can't include your luck. Your pull rate can be 90% but you still couldn't pull something you want.

Spreadsheet is nice but a bit overkill for me.
I just pick the tablet I need most and use that to determine if I reset:
If I pull one before 333 pulls left -> Reset
If I pull two before 167 pulls left -> Reset
If other tablets are really skewed I can obviously use judgement but the above thumbrule works pretty darn well with minimal effort.

I just finished my pulls.
My results for 1430 tickets in Box7:
Total Tablets: 133 (9.3%)
I call that a success and totally worth the effort since the normal % for tablets is 7.8% (39/500). That's 22 extra tablets over the normal rate.
I also was considering Manuals as an objective and I got 19 in total. I wasn't that lucky in this one but it doesn't bother me.

Thanks for sharing.
I am of the opinion that analysing your odds and deciding is the way to optimize your pulls. But I not only see the probability for the next pull. I see the probability of several pulls ahead and the rate it is increasing/decreasing. In some cases, when you do one more pull the probability of the next ones is not only better than refreshing, but also the rate in wich that probability rises is also higher for the following pulls. I discussed this concept a little more in detail in gottem11111's post a cople of months ago.
The previos threads I've seen don't include an easy to use tool and just discuss the numbers so yours is appreciated.
