It’s a confusing special. But it means if you have an attack and orb boost already active before the special then it will increase it to 2.5x

I don't think it's confusing at all.. It clearly says "increases", not "applies" or "boosts"

Some people are new to the game. Let’s try to help out each other out the best that we can

I'm all for helping new players. But this is like not even try reading the special description..
Edit: they downvote Jesus cause he said the truth

hey man i’m with you,

this was just a case of laziness (or possibly English as 2nd language) & not the wording actually being confusing or wrong🤷🏻

being new isn’t an excuse for not reading though…

This is the game with less explaining EVER. It's not a excuse, it's crazy being new to this game and expect to understand even this special if you're not used to the wording. Not to mention the new cap abilities or specials which will probably extend for a hundred lines in the near future.

It’s in English, it doesn’t have to do with the game as long as you know English then you can understand it if you read it properly…

now if someone doesn’t learn English as a 1st language then I can DEFINITELY understand the confusion lol

(but that’s different and understandable🤷🏻)

And you know if OP is a native English speaker or something? Also, no, wording is important, and in this game more than any other, even if you are a native speaker. It's crazy what you have to take into account from what you read to be able to play your stuff correctly. Being new in this game sucks A LOT.

what does being new to a game have anything to do with someone being literate or not in English/a language? you’re not making sense🤯

If you are new to the game and they tell you something increases boosts to whatever, there is definitely a chance you understand it gives the boosts. Now, if you are used to reading that wording in more characters, and know there is actually a difference between boosting and increasing a boost IN THE GAME, then that chance gets slimmer. But that only comes with experience IN THE GAME, not with use of English.

🤦🏻dude, no…

what you said isn’t even accurate because it was between these two wordings for the referred special:

☝🏼increases team’s ATK by 2.5

✌🏼increases team’s ATK BOOST by 2.5

that’s simpleAF bro, tf you mean!?😑

why you over here doing hella much writing whole ass paragraphs acting like THAT was rocket science lmao you being ridiculous frfr😂

literally ANYONE who learned English as their 1st language will (not just should) be able to EASILY distinguish the difference between the meanings of these two wordings, and to say otherwise is straight up being dishonest & making excuses to defend laziness/incompetence🤡

It says increase the (already in place) boosts yeah,

if it was like OP though then it would only just say boosts🤷🏻
