I always found it weird that people really thought it would be easy for people living in a

  1. Primitive world

  2. Where advanced technology is deliberately hidden from the masses by the oligarchy.

  3. And any people or groups remotely showing interest in learning the history of the void century get brutally annihilated as a warning or are silently wiped off of existence.

to just nonchalantly dive 200m deep to search for clues of ancient civilizations most people don't know exist. Sure, if every ancient civilization was 200m below sea and also miraculously near coasts and continental shelves then it would be possible. However, in all likelihood these are in random spots in the ocean. Our ocean floors are almost impossible to fully map using all our advanced technology but how would One Piece people do this with more primitive equipment and way more water coverage?

Really just need a group with the sonar sonar and map map fruits to show up and do it.

Oh man, I'd really love to see ironic DF powers that are only useful when you're submerged underwater. Not that map map or sonar sonar need you to be underwater. Knowing Nami, the current user of Map Map fruit would definitely die.

Sonar is created by blasting sound around you and waiting for it to ping back. They are strong enough to vaporize any fish near submarines A Sonar-sonar fruit user would be creating sonic booms even on land, which would be a pretty cracked power to have
