He has a surprising amount of parallels to Brook though. Brook is also skeleton swordsman with ice powers and Oda even said that if Brook was an animal he'd be a horse.

Since he is wielding (supposedly) the first Kitetsu, it would be a waste for him not to be Zoros Opponent though. I really hope they clash.

I actually have this new theory as of today that in the Final War, Brook and Zoro will have to go 2 vs 1 in a team-up to beat Ethan Baron.

That way, both the parallels to Zoro and the parallels to Brook will come to fruition.

And it wouldn't really hurt Zoro's image at all to need Brook's help if it turns out that this guy is legitimately a margin stronger than even Mihawk while also having more versatility thanks to his supernatural powers.

He'd be the SECRET true strongest swordsman, and I'd be totally fine with the two swordsmen of the Straw Hats having to team up with their respective strengths (power vs speed, haki vs supernatural powers, etc.) in order to beat him.

He also has ice powers so feels like Brook opponent too. Who will be be colder?!

But he just seems waaay too strong to be a Brook opponent in a 1v1, even by EoS, unless Oda goes super-stupid-ham with very, very nonsensical Haki-blooms for those Straw Hats who literally don't know ANY Haki yet.

My new theory is that Brook and Zoro will have to team up 2 vs 1 to beat Ethan in the Final War.

It would be an amazing bonding experience for the two swordsmen of the Straw Hats, they'd have to use their respecting contrasting strengths (power vs speed, haki vs supernatural powers, etc.) in tandem.

And it just FEELS right that maybe a Zoro + Brook teamup could be exactly what's needed to beat this guy.

I think zoro would need better swords before that but Brook will always have the cane. Brook having no haki has never made sense to me. He doesn’t need hakoshoku but at least advanced armament by EOS. He will be the black skeleton king if he pulls off full body haki

Why would Zoro need any new sword upgrades in order to fight Nusjuro? We saw him get a chance to upgrade the Sandai Kitetsu to the Nidai Kitetsu in Wano (he legit could've just asked Sukiyaki for it after the battle), but he chose not to.

It seems to me that Enma is probably his final upgrade and these three swords are here to stay. Okay sure, guys like Mihawk and Nusjuro may have a Supreme Grade Blade.

But first of all, we know from Shanks' use of Gryphon that swordsmen don't NEED a Supreme Grade Blade or even a Black Blade to clash with someone who has one.

Second of all, Zoro has THREE swords, and furthermore it was stated by Sukiyaki that if he turns Enma into a Black Blade, it will upgrade in rank to Supreme (which implies that Wado will also become Supreme Grade if he turns it black, since it is of the same rank and also a blade that works as a pair with Enma and helps to tame it).

Zoro is set up to have three black blades post-Mihawk-fight, two of which will be Supreme Grade and one of which will be Great Grade or something, lol. Wano was his last chance to upgrade from the Sandai and he chose not to.

That’s a good point, zoro could have asked or just taken it from luffy earlier. I foresee he will have 3 supreme grades EOS but have a different epithet than just world’s strongest swordsman. Maybe something like demon eye zoro or roronoa catastrophe

I don’t know why but I get a Dominic toretto sitting in the back of the bar enjoying his drinks until he has to fight vibe from zoro. Like he is the owner and everything but still jacked and drinking his sake or beers quietly. Someone wants to fight and zoro breaks it up and said someone is amazed that the demonic catastrophe is really the owner.
