If this doesn't end with Kuma suicide bombing Saturn for the kill, I don't know what else could happen other then an Android 16.

Considering Saturn himself is the one who ordered the self destruct function be added, against all of Vegapunk's objections, it would be very fitting for his own actions to be what takes him down here. The fact that Oda put that and the thing about the split personality in this chapter is probably a setup so a suicide bombing by Kuma on Saturn doesn't come out of nowhere. I don't that will actually take him down by itself though, but it might be what gives the Straw Hats the opening to finish the job.

There's no way Vegapunk doesn't have some secret card or chip, right? Surely he must have some "failsafe" in case Kuma was ever ordered to attack him?

Even in this chapter I think Vegapunk said he had "one last thing to add just to be safe" and we were'nt told what it was

yeah I'm thinking he definitely has the switch installed. VP probably activated it and that's what sent him to leave the RA so quickly
