I never expected Kuma to be such a big player in the final saga, or Bonney for that matter! But damn the seeds were there for years and Oda let them sprout and thrive.

Though if we’re getting this many chapters for characters like Bonney and Kuma how many are we gonna get for Shanks, BB, Imu, Dragon, or Akainu? The end is in sight, sure, but it’s still damn far away if you ask me.

Can't wait to see Akainu's backstory tbh. Something really fucked up had to have happened to him for him to have such a scorched earth view on justice

The whole Void Century flashback should also be insanely good and long, I dont think 5 years will cut it.

I don’t think we need a big flashback for Shanks, unless they do a massive switch up his character is pretty well known via other flashbacks. Dragon and Akainu probably won’t get big backstory either. BB and Imu absolutely, and I have a feeling they’re connected in some way

No, but we didn’t get a big flashback for Kaido and there were still many chapters dedicated to him in the present day.
