So Vegapunk didn't fully erase Kuma's memories or are his recent actions a pre programmed failsafe? Really sad seeing Vega cry following WG orders, the price of funding...

I think it'll tie to Lilith's words about it being difficult to erase a living thing's will. We also saw this with S-Snake being in love with Luffy.

So even if Kuma's individuality and mind is gone, his paternal instincts are likely to remain in some capacity.

It would be awesome if s-bear started protecting boney.

We might see that in the final war.

We might see that next!

I hope

I can already imagine the utter confusion on Saturn’s face once he see how S-snake and S-bear are ignoring his orders

Inject that shit directly into my vein!

Wouldn't it be funny if S-Bear inherited Kuma's consciousness?

Maybe his will to protect kuma but not his consciousness. It just doesn’t feel right.

Yeah I think the S line-up will end up being their own people / personalities.

Unlikely since that would kill s-bear since vegapunk also told stussy she was a human too despite being a clone

can Bonney adopt s-bear that'd be so cute

For the Seraphims, I've always imagined how they could live with their original once everything is over.

Both Boa competing for Luffy, both Mihawk enjoying fighting each other, Crocodile having an heir to his criminal Empire.

So since Kuma will die soon, this only leaves out Bonney to take S-Bear on a trip around the world.

Mihawk is going to die by Zoro, I can see S-Hawk being trained by Zoro and then send on his own journey.

I want to think that vegapunk somehow instaled kuma's will in every single pacifista aside 0's (and maybe on only S-bear from the seraphim). That way he is fullfilling saturn's request while also instaling that "multiple personality switch"

It would be REALLY funny if they made replicas of the warlords because they couldn't control them only for the seraphim to betray them and side with vegapunk

Like Saturn said, he himself is a scientist so it will be very difficult for Vegapunk to deceive him like that.

Maybe but that line reeks to me of arrogance

Well, he climbing the Red Line sure as fuck wasnt an order, so theres some kind of primordial instinct telling him what to do.

I really think Vegapunk still went behind Saturns plan and copied Kuma’s personality. My idea is that to hide the copy from Saturn he put it in the ancient robot that’s sitting in the field of junk, so it was somewhere inconspicuous. That’s why the robot is reacting to Nika’s presence and also could be why that’s where we first met Vegapunk. He might have been tinkering inside the robot to get the robot (Kuma) mobile again but got interrupted when Luffy showed up

Ya let me get this straight.... There's a self destruct mode in him. There's also a split personality more that Vega wasn't allowed to implement.

I've got a feeling he did... And I have a feeling the self destruct will be used as a final selfless act.

It might be pure instinct. Remember when that zombie girl tried to resist Hogback's commands during Thriller Bark?

i dont think kuma will make it out alive but the way things have gone in this arc i feel like the switch was implemented anyways and he'll be back to his original self, especially with the way he was mindlessly charging towards wherever he was going earlier in the arc (im assuming egghead)

i think vegapunk expected things would go this way as well
