My friend had an orange cat named Morris. You made eye contact with Morris at your own risk, otherwise you had a Velcro cat the rest of your visit. He would even put himself in a position where you had no choice but to kick eyes with him 😂
THANK YOU! YES! Meow Mix didn't sound right, but I rolled with it because nothing else came to mind. That is what we used to feed my first orange, Tigger, back in the 80's and 90's. You know, when cat food still came in a box.
Ragdoll cats are gorgeous! I've thought about getting one when my orange goes, but I love my "Coons" so much; I don't know that I could switch.
I've had both. They're different personalities but both very focused on their chosen person. MCs are Velcro with dignity, Raggies say hell with that and are shamelessly Velcro.
My MC would sleep on my leg or chest almost without fail. My mom's ragdoll would poke her in the rear end with a single claw through the back of her chair to announce her presence, and groom her hair any time she was on the couch. They were both characters.

To be fair, my mum's dad was still mad about them changing the Catholic mass from Latin to English 30 years later and about no longer getting communion on the tongue. Oh, if he could see what people wear to mass these days, it would kill him to be sure! Thankfully, he died when people were still dressing up for mass 😂 Gosh, I miss him terribly, though!

That would make sense! We haven't named either of our cats cause we adopt them older. Our first cat was a ragdoll named Sophie that we got when she was 9. Then we got our orange boy when he was 4.

The black cat knew no boundaries. I'd wake up and he'd be nestled between us, or (more frequently) I'd wake up to him tapping his paws on my face. Or chest. He liked to make biscuits on my belly lol
The orange though, man she hated me. Was once tryna take a nap with my girl and she was like let's get a cat to snuggle with, so I was like yeah sure whatever (so long as it's not the orange one)

As she's carrying this cat to the room, I just hear her growling louder and louder. This cat did not like me at all. She gets to the doorway and the cat is full on screaming, so she lets her down and the cat darts downstairs.
"Please, I love you and I love your pets, but please, never bring that cat anywhere near me" lmao
I was hiding behind a pillow for some sort of protection lol. My cat loves to make me his prey 🥲 Here’s another one! (when he was 4 months old) loves to hang around behind our bed frame for a sneak attack
I do that! Noises and everything. I once forgot to mute my mic when my little guy attacked me. I was all injured and broken on the floor and then someone on the line snickered. That’s how I knew.

My orange cat was named “Crazy” I named her that because as I was bringing her home she was cold, so I put her in my jacket. She proceeded to run around me in circles, scratching and just generally being.. well, yea. So she lived to 18 and I loved her crazy ass the whole time. I was the only one who did. And. I miss her. Like all my babies.
I can often feel my cat hovering over my shoulder while I'm trying to work. If I make eye contact with him I immediately lose at least half an hour to cuddles and back scritches
Ugh, I hate that. I love sleeping late, now that it’s getting to be winter my orange boy likes to come inside my apartment earlier than he does in the summer. He loves to sleep on my kitchen counter which has a clear line of sight into my bedroom since I have no bedroom door thanks to one of my older brothers. If I make eye contact with him and he’s in the mood to snuggle, which he’s 99% of the time, he’ll come on my bed and harass me while I tell him to leave and that I am sleeping.
Last summer when it was really hot I got up off the couch and went to the bathroom to do my business. As I was walking back to the couch I saw my cat sleeping on my bed, I said “hey kitty” enthusiastically and that was enough for me to have a sweaty lap for the next hour or so.
Kitty loves to play. Get him a cat to play with and you will be set free. You’d be surprised that having 2 cats feels like less work than having 1 cat as they keep each other busy and are happier.
We call this "act of war" in our house 😊 there are many ways to initiate "an act of war" depending on which pet you accidentally look at wrong or touch in ghe triggering place 😳 😬 🤣
if you want it to stop your best bet is to distract him with other toys or work on showing that you're in pain so that he hopefully learns you're not a toy.
Mine will sit and stare at me for hours until i look at her. Then she starts talking. We have some good conversations but you can certainly tell she's a she because she always has to get the last word in
Hate when that happens, pretty much have to put them down, take them to a taxidermist, fashion a hat from their body and parade your new hat around other cats to assert dominance.
