What is this orange blob?

I accidentally picked it up thinking it was a rock but it was squishy! Can’t figure out what it is. Looks like uni. Was found in New Hampshire.

Almost looks like a starfish arm with those little bubble/sucker looking features, but if it’s squishy then I don’t know. Maybe a sea slug type guy that deflated out of the water

Looks somewhat as a leech, but they are gray often.

It does look like a leech. It didn’t have any visible mouth or anything though. Just a blob lol
