Is that based on some intelligence or based on a desire for pre-emptive defence using de-escalation through escalation aka bombing a few civilians in Iran?

Just a few children for a morning murder sesh

Only democracy in the middle east after all. We should let them away with a few ethnic cleansings every now and then...

After all, we had no problem with letting SS members and ranking Nazi's go free.

The US, Germany, England and France are all actively helping Israel in Lebanon.

https://x.com/MenchOsint/status/1841078793277935811

So I think the US is trying to bait Iran.

IMO, this isn't in the US's interest, but this is a long-term goal of the pro-Israel lobby and Israel and they're likely the ones compelling Genocide Joe right now.

I personally think he's taking tons of naps and Blinken et al are probably steering the ship.

It's already been reported that the Biden admin. exiles dissenters:

People close to the president told Axios they worry about raising concerns in meetings because Biden's group of longtime loyal aides can exile dissenters.

Lebanon is also helping Israel in Lebanon. So there's that.

u/Chance_Market7740 Oct 01 '24

Hezbollah isn’t good for Israel or Lebanon. The sooner they are gone from Lebanon the better for everyone.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

Suprise, suprise, Iran actually launched the missles.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

It’s probably based on the premise that obviously more missiles are going to come Israel’s way after everything that’s happened lol

7

u/LostTrisolarin Oct 01 '24

This is exactly what Israel wants. They want USA to fight Iran.

10

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '24

The fact that the White House knows about this ahead of time tells you everything. This is more posturing by Iran and won’t actually do anything

3

u/nikiyaki Oct 01 '24

Bear in mind, this is a new age of war, called Transparent Warfare. As we've seen in Ukraine/Russia. They know all each other bases and movements. Everything has to happen and finish fast and scatter.

2

u/RyNysDad0722 Oct 01 '24

No it’s the WH trying to lay the ground work for why we have to go to war with Iran.. they are writing the narrative for Israel to be a bully and not pay consequences for their actions in Gaza

6

u/Western-Direction395 Oct 01 '24

Why would they announce it ahead of time?

9

u/Reddit_Sucks_1401 Oct 01 '24

Because they aren't Israel

8

u/RajcaT Oct 01 '24

This is based on us Intel. Not a warning from Iran.

Hard to say the purpose. Could be an orchestrated repeat of the last time the sent hundreds of drones.

There are broader considerations because Iran also supplies rhe Russian with the missiles they're bombing ukraine with.

3

u/DeadFloydWilson Oct 01 '24

White House clearing the way for Israel to do a “pre-emptive” strike.

3

u/Irish_Goodbye4 Oct 01 '24

If Israel pre-emptively attacked Iran, Syria, Lebanon 3 times, how can they still play the victim?

Also if Israel kept Gaza in a human apartheid prison for 75 years, how can they pretend Oct7 came out of nowhere ?

Remember the last time Israel tried a major invasion of Lebanon in the 80's when Hezbollah was a small Guerrilla group?

Pray tell who won that war?

hint: It wasn't Israel.

26

u/PerceptionOne10 Oct 01 '24

Israel just goes around bombing an entire city, killing thousands of civilians and tells the world it has beaten some xyz rebel group and won the war and a good chunk of idiots believe it.

The amount of people who fall for this is crazy lol. They think Israel is some superpower which can take on anyone and everyone. They often fail to take into account that the prime reason why Israel acts like this is because they're a very protected country diplomatically. If there's any criticism, all the major countries of the West come running down to save and defend it.

I'm not sure Israel realises what new enemies it is making.

-20

u/Mandrogd Oct 01 '24

So why the pager operation then? Why go to such lengths to attack their enemies without harming the surrounding civilians. It was genius and it minimized civilian death/injury while neutering (in some cases literally) Hezbollah's network.

19

u/Matheuspit77 Oct 01 '24

Pagers detonated among general public killing children and innocent people, besides also injuring a lot more people. But yeah, no surrounding civilians harmed, hooray!

14

u/Substantive420 Oct 01 '24

Yeah man, Israel mininizes civilian casualties 🙄

Can you mf’s PLEASE use some critical thinking for once in your lives? Jesus.

-8

u/Mandrogd Oct 01 '24

They do. It's just that Israel's enemies, Hamas and Hezbollah, use human shields and insert the civilians, against their will, into combat situations.

4

u/annonymous_bosch Oct 01 '24

Combat situations like their homes

3

u/Substantive420 Oct 01 '24

Just the same lazy excuses/propaganda.

1

u/andre_royo_b Oct 01 '24

Even if that’s true.. you still need someone to fire at that shield?

So Israel is firing at will at operation human shield, hence the many civilian casualties in Gaza but they really really have no other way it can be done..

But also, they minimize the casualties with their pinpoint precision attacks.. by the ‘genius’ intelligence

Which one is it? Either they are genius and are very effective in not hurting civilian life or they can’t differentiate between targets because the enemy is hiding amongst them. Make up your mind people..

0

u/Mandrogd Oct 02 '24

Operations like the pagers can only be done once fir obvious reasons. There are rules of engagement and in war it important to try to avoid civilian casualties but it’s your right and duty to destroy your enemy.

1

u/Forward_Wolverine180 Oct 02 '24

Fatima Jaafar Abdullah and Bilal Kanj… this is who the pagers killed I hope you’re ashamed of yourself

1

u/andre_royo_b Oct 02 '24

‘Duty’ to kill your enemy .. please STFU

4

u/Status_Winter Oct 01 '24

It was genius

So you think Israel is the only country to invent putting a bomb in a phone? The reason no other nation does this is because they’re smart enough to know it’s illegal.

Except these weren't civilians, Hezbollah are terrorists. They're the only ones that got the pagers and received them so they could organize against Israel in the war effort. The example in the link refers to booby traps aimed at civilians.

2

u/Status_Winter Oct 01 '24

It’s still illegal for reasons that should be blindingly obvious. What if the CIA decided to mail Anthrax packages to members of Al Qaeda? It’s exactly the same strategy, it would be effective, deadly and targeted. And just as illegal.

1

u/Status_Winter Oct 02 '24

0

u/Mandrogd Oct 02 '24

Recent conflict. In a single year.

It’s a war and the ratio of civilian to combatant deaths is actually quite low when compared to other wars.

1

u/Status_Winter Oct 02 '24

civilian to combatant deaths is actually quite low when compared to other wars

Ive seen this being said on other subreddits and yet no evidence supports this point of view. And all the evidence (and common sense) supports the absolute opposite of this. You don’t think Israel would gasp lie about this?

0

u/Mandrogd Oct 02 '24

It's why Hamas refuses to count combatants vs civilians in their death counts. Vast majority of the dead are Hamas combatants, but this doesn't suit their campaign to paint Israel as targeting civilians, or the preposterous accusation of genocide.

Yeah, the example was from 82 because they for some strange miraculous reason never tried a major ground invasion afterwards till this week.

6

u/ShadowPirate114 Oct 01 '24 edited Oct 01 '24

They tried in 2006 and thought the whole experience was very antisemetic.

6

u/Down_The_Glen Ireland Oct 01 '24

It is genuinely extremely funny watching them cry antisemitism while the government they keep voting for is actively stating "Hitler wasn't actually such a bad guy."

13

u/Reddit_Sucks_1401 Oct 01 '24

Israel has nothing to boast about lol. When you have the help of nearly all of the EU, UK and USA, its not as impressive as the Zionists make it out to be.

Give Iran the same level of help, and Israel would've been gone decades ago

I never said we should. But helping a very genocidal state ignite a regional war is hardly a smart decision

1

u/Ancient-Watch-1191 Oct 01 '24

The US will not stop Israel to use one or two of its nukes on Iran, which will completely obliterate the country and half of it's population. Iran is very very aware of that, as it should be.
