HO insurance. We’re moving to Marietta and looking for a highly rated insurance company. We’re claim free however, the roof is 25 years old and I was given Orion180 as the only option. 😭

I have been with Travelers and they worked my claim fairly quickly and it was a great experience. Had a (healthy) tree fall on my deck and gutters on the roof. Their inspector approved for full deck and all roof singles replacement.

country financial has been fantastic on service and claims. Ryan Swails is my agent. hes worth looking up if you want a quote. he just saved my aunt 800 annually on a house shes buying. it also has an old roof.

This is who I have had for years and the quotes every year are still way cheaper than the other big brands. And when you have to fill a claim, they are so fast and helpful.

Stay the fuck away from Progressive: Homesite (American Family). American Family is like the UHC of home owners insurance.
I had to send wackadoo adjuster reports, along with photos of a 30” limb fall hole in my roof direct to the CEO on a public Twitter feed to get them to pitch in for my roof replacement. Not fully fund mind you, just cover half… after a 1000 year wind & hail storm.
I have heard good things about lemonade, but your credit and your insurance score had better be spotless or they won’t even talk to you

You won’t find hardly anyone with a roof that old. We just moved here and got one place to cover our 12yo roof that passed inspection without a single issue. Have the sellers redo the roof or do it immediately and switch companies. We got a broker and they couldn’t find anyone. I just called everyone one day and finally got one.

Just got through State Farm or one of the others. Doesn't really make a difference in the long run. Not sure what the roof has to do with anything, should have been factored into the purchase.
Edit: oh you're probably a bot.
Edit edit: oh you are absolutely a bot because you're the one asking about Chinese restaurants in Marietta even though you could easily Google that and what town only has PF Chang's as an Asian option?

WTH? Not a bot. I didn’t want to Google names of restaurants, I wanted recommendations from locals. PF Chang was the only Chinese/Asian restaurant open on Christmas where I live in FL. I’m Jewish and 99% of the locals are not. Even Dunkin’ Donuts was closed.
Roof makes a difference because if the roof is old, it will eventually leak and I’ll make a claim. Insurance Companies don’t like claims, so I’m a risk.

Insurance companies won't insure houses with old roofs. Just happened to us. It's really common recently due to the insurance companies taking losses. And our roof is only 10 years old. They sent an inspector our and we hired a roofer to send them a legit import instead of their "inspector" who just took photos with a selfie stick from ground level.
I recommend going through an insurance broker. Plenty around, Google one and call ones with good reviews. They will do the shopping for you, and it does not cost extra. They make their money off the insurance companies, not their clients.

Try J.F. Shaw. They’re by the square. Whatever you do stay far, far away from State Farm, Allstate, and nationwide
