Hardcore Right-Wingers, MAGAs, Trumpists Losing Their Blue Checks on Twitter FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON

u/Agitated-Quit-6148 22h ago
I'm just getting a chuckle. Laura Loomer just told Ian Miles Chong "I hope the sharia police find you"
I mean... omg.

elon said:
"i am god"
"If you need school, you lost already (to H1Bs)"
"Every Indian graduate should be allowed in the United States, its good for business"
"We're just dumb" (replying to a comment about why Indian guys should be hired over white guys. yes, he said white people are dumb.)
He also liked a comment that called MAGA "untrainable retards" who cant hold down a job.
And not counting all the death threats and calls to violence against Elon and Vivek, or the meltdown when Ian reposted trump saying he wanted to give out free green cards.
89
u/Bigfamei 18h ago
Yet these people won't call their republican rep and say all schooling should be free. So we(white people) can compete. They will just be in their feelings.
72
u/eindar1811 17h ago
It's not the educated employee that Elon is thirsty for. It's the visa that says the company owns the worker like property and can force them to work a total compensation package that's half of the prevailing rate.
American CS Majors are miles better than Indian CS majors, but they won't work 80 hour weeks for 40k per year. Elon is trying to craft a narrative that American tech workers are lazy so that he can exploit humans from other countries.
What kills me is that we somehow simultaneously hold the views that people come here and work like animals to avoid being sent back home, but also that if we raise taxes rich people will leave this country. Both can't be as true as MAGA wants you to believe.
38
u/TheGoddessLily 16h ago
Its no accident a majority of the employees still at Twitter are indian CS. Musk fired or drove out the others. Musk loves it because he can be the big boss man of the plantation.
13
u/whoisnotinmykitchen 13h ago
This 1000x. Any company whining that they can't find good workers are really saying that they can't find good workers desperate enough to take below-market pay.
9
u/Bigfamei 17h ago edited 17h ago
I don't know if AMerican CS majors are better. Clearly there is alot of talant world wide. I do agree they are more expensive. If the only way to get trained is to take otu a loan, military service or lucky to be a marginally decent athlete to get a scholorship. They should be arguing for free education. So they can be the change they want in that industry. Even tho that's not what musk wants.
25
u/lickle_ickle_pickle 16h ago
That's beside the point. If Elon wanted talent "for America" he'd talk about getting skilled immigrants green cards faster. H1B is an extremely exploitative employer sponsored visa. He wants to run the plantation just like at Twitter. His H1Bs by and large were unable to quit and had to do whatever he said with no pushback.
10
u/Bigfamei 16h ago
I agree with all that. I'm talking from the point of a Maghat. Who wanted no brown immigration. Yet will do nothing to tell repubs to make education free for them to compete.
7
u/BookWyrm2012 15h ago
I don't think the average MAGAt views tech jobs as "real jobs." Or possibly any white collar jobs. I'm not convinced that, even given free education, the majority of MAGAt country would even make use of it. They seem to truly believe that an education is a threat to their worldview/lifestyle, which, to be fair, it is. It's why they flocked to Trump University, where they could get the benefits of a degree without the hazard of actually learning anything.
1
u/alloyed39 7h ago
Then watch them lament that women are outpacing men in higher education; guys just don't see the value in book-learning anymore. 😭
Their (likely) solution: stop women from going to school. 🫤
14
u/eindar1811 16h ago
I've seen both in action. Indian CS majors learn the languages, but they are never taught any critical thinking skills, just rote memorization. As such, they are generally terrible at design.
-9
u/Bigfamei 16h ago
That's probably not the case. I'll let those Indian workers speak speak to teh details.
1
69
u/a_minty_fart 17h ago
Don't offer to give MAGA voters school...they will hate you for it.
It is the direct consequence of years of framing education as something for "liberal elites" that "real Americans" don't want or need.
Wild how communities plagued by generations of brain drain, underfunded education, and propaganda aimed to keep them dumb results in communities where ignorance is a mark of pride.
Elon just fucked up by saying it out loud.
30
u/Bigfamei 17h ago
Yep. They believe their high school education is enough for some of the most complicated task and jobs in the world. That hold people lives in their hands. "All I need is OJT and I'll have it down."
21
u/Bovronius 14h ago
My parents moved us out of a super rural area to a slightly less rural area growing up because of how bad the schools and culture were, but now in their 60s they've regressed to hating everything to do with education, or is even slightly perceived as left leaning.
The propaganda machine has hit hard over the last 20 years especially on their generation.
15
u/SingularityCentral 16h ago
There are plenty of engineers in the US of all races. Musk and Ramaswamy just want to hold h-1b visa holders hostage and pay them slave wages.

u/NoPomegranate4794 10h ago
Elon recently "joked" he was the unofficial president, so we'll see how well that goes over.
Trump has already been on the news stating very loudly and repetitively that Elon is not the president. Let's see how he reacts when that clip shows up for him.

They united for one reason racism and economy We're gonna get one of them
34
u/TairaTLG 18h ago
I actually think its hilariously worse (for us all)
Elon is basically trying to call in his debt. But not subtly. Subtly would be sliding it in with a few other things. Hea just gone straight mask off with his demands. But i wonder if some of the other 'owed' types will make demands (or then again. Maybe thats the fetish with tariffs and invading Canada :D )

In 26 days they're all gonna be gathered together in one fairly confined space, all riled up, probably drunk...televised...
13
u/NoSoundNoFury 18h ago
I still think that Trump's decision to never drink any alcohol or take drugs was actually smart, because imagine the insane shit that would go through his head if he were drunk or high when this is how he is sober... He probably wouldn't even have made it to his apprentice show before ending up in jail.
33
u/Son_of_kitsch 18h ago
I think his alcohol abstinence isn’t disputed but there are plenty of sources suggesting he’s taken drugs for much of his life. That drug use may be linked to his rumoured incontinence, along with his poor diet.
9
u/TheGoddessLily 16h ago
I personally think Trump is an Adderall user. His behavior during the debates provides it
6
10
u/failed_novelty 16h ago
Dude...
Sure, he might abstain from most booze...but if you think he's anything but high as a kite most of the time, you're crazy. Dude acted like he was doing bumps during debates, and lots of times his behavior changes over the course of debates lines up very closely with the timing of stimulant processing.

I made the mistake of listening to the podcast A Bit Fruity's episode on her while wrapping presents. I told my boyfriend "I wrapped this with love, but I was very mad while wrapping it so I might've gotten some hate stuck in the tape" then we made jokes about me packing him up some racist slurs for Christmas.

Oh they're discovering that a private platform is not in fact the "public square?" Their cries about leftist censorship suddenly have no merit. They're mad that they are being shadow-banned and censored.... by "their own guy" on his private platform. The difference is that now the flawed TOS from before, are even more flawed because an autistic "engineer type" can now dictate what the rules will be, on the fly, by his fallible personal judgement.
Even in our most American, liberal democracy, there is no free speech. The government cannot censor your speech (unless you're a MAGA Karen who can take over a shitty fascist red county School Board), but the government does not own or regulate every medium of communication, and they shouldn't! That would be "communist."
Voters are stupid, and I have no faith in them, but I am hopeful that Trump 2 is such a disaster, like an unmitigated conflagration of ineptitude and self ownage, that MAYBE significant numbers of people will learn basic cause-and-effect and/or "liars gonna lie and at some point it's not even their fault when people start believing them."
It is extremely frustrating to live in this dumbest timeline.
24
u/odin_the_wiggler 19h ago
I constantly wonder what Carl Sagan's reaction to this timeline would've been.
I also wonder what the elderly think of all of this - watching a society completely unraveling and idiocracy taking place.
51
u/Retro_Dad 18h ago
He called it; I’m sure he would take absolutely zero pleasure in seeing he was right.
Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time — when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness.

Well my 96 year old grandmother is absolutely horrified. Especially when it comes to the anti-vax nonsense. She still remembers when her middle school was shut down due to polio and her grandfather died during the Spanish flu.
3
u/ganggreen651 13h ago
Same with my 94 year old grandma. She was absolutely flabbergasted about this shit. At least she didn't make it to the election.
6
u/AquiliferX 17h ago
The elderly? Well from my experience some of the most die-hard MAGATs are old farts so I'm not sure living through "the good old days" makes them immune to Trump's bullshitery
9
u/lickle_ickle_pickle 16h ago
White over 65 vote moved away from Trump this election. Of course that also reflects Silent Gen die-offs because older Boomers were always significantly more liberal than them.
6
u/foodandart 15h ago
I work for the over 80's crowd. Many of them loathe Trump as they remember the Trump name from when Fred Trump was taking GI Bill money from the government to build homes for vets and using it instead for his own projects.
There's a reason that Eisenhower despised Fred Trump. Donald is cut from the same wretched, selfish cloth as his dad.. and is slipping into dementia like his father before him.
No how, no way would Trump have tolerated Musk back in 2016 doing what he is doing now. The brain is weak and the wolves are feeding.
1
u/Opposite-Job-8405 12h ago
Most of them are unaware of what’s going on on twitter because they’re spoon fed propaganda thought their curated channels
2
2
u/Bovronius 14h ago
I'll frequently say I'm glad he's dead, I can't imagine his levels of disappointment right now.
1
u/vegastar7 16h ago
I don’t think the elderly are “watching society imploding”: they voted for this shit.
53
u/Immudzen 22h ago
It is not an unknown reason. It is because they have posted things that Elon doesn't like. Things like being against doubling H1B or against cutting programs they depend on. Elon doesn't care about free speech. Twitter is run purely for the benefit of Elon and his investors and free speech has no place in that.
26
u/Ok-Exchange5756 21h ago
This will truly remain one of life’s great mysteries. Eat up my leopards, eat up.

Oh no my blue tick. How will I be taken seriously now I don’t have a blue tick.
9

1
u/DigitalScrap 11h ago
The catch for them is that the way Elon has rigged the algo is that if you do not have the blue tick, you get practically no reach, and almost no one will see the crap you spew (and you can no longer make money on the platform).
16

u/zinn0ber 12h ago
i am pretty sure that Elonia, also known as a true freethinker and the biggest proponent of free speech, got into his feels, the sensible soul that he is, and stripped everyone who tried to talk back at him of their privileges. Because, you know, my way or highway lol
8
u/metalpoetza 20h ago
Did these people really expect the fascists they elected to give a fuck about them after they won?
9
u/humchacho 17h ago
Maybe they realize now that it wasn’t leftists censoring them before. It’s always been the tech industry going 1984 on everyone’s ass.
9
u/SaltyInternetPirate 19h ago
They're losing the blue checks because they insulted Elon and he took them away. They're losing subscribers because he also made his bots unsubscribe from them
15
u/Sad-Development-4153 22h ago
Here is the dilemma for this asshole. Does she make up a "lib" conspiracy to try to get clout off this and draw fire from the others or does she also stand against Elon? JK she will totally try to get clout off this blaming the libs somehow.
1
8
u/dirschau 19h ago
Sooo... Has Trump commented on any of this yet, or is he radio silent to see who wins public opinion?
5
u/yaoigay 17h ago
I think Trump is in on it tbh, he knows what Elon has planned. The question is how long will Trump tolerate being second to him given his massive ego? Not long, Trump is gonna snap eventually and the divorce will be glorious.
11
u/dirschau 17h ago
Before that question is a different one, though:
Is Trump lucid enough to even understand what's happening on his own, or is he brain addled enough now that he'll believe whatever his handler tells him.
Those who meet with him in person know. Melon was hanging out around him for the last few weeks.
I'm afraid he's feeling bold because he knows trump's true mental state and he owns his handlers.
1
u/Rabble_Runt 15h ago
He’s a reality TV guy. He probably gets them boozed up and watches them fight over his attention.

3
u/repthe732 18h ago
Because Musk doesn’t need you anymore. You all fell for his plan to control the government for the next few years. Now that his puppet is president why does he need any of you? He’s already turned back on his immigration stance (speaking of, why did anyone think an immigrant would actually be against immigrants?). He’s turned back on America first (again, why would you think an immigrant is America first?). His puppet turned around on lowering grocery costs (why would the rich lower the costs for the poor?).

I wonder what's going to come out of Trump regarding all this shit.
He IS stupid enough to have gotten himself into a blackmail situation with Musk like he did Russia.
We'll have to see what happens with immigration to see who is actually President now.
2
u/RidetheSchlange 15h ago
This has been a recurring theme since even before his first presidential run- that he can be bought, bribed, and blackmailed. He can't pass background checks and there is intelligence on him going back decades. Plus the sex scandals are also issues because he can be blackmailed that way as well.
1
u/Opposite-Job-8405 12h ago
He needs billionaires with platforms and influence more than the MAGA accounts that are nothing without the platform they’re on. He will say and do nothing and deflect to some other fabricated crisis. The boomers will never hear of it cause they’re spoon fed their propaganda. I can guarantee that boomers don’t know who caturd, libs of TikTok or Laura Loomer are. All they know is libs are bad and everything is fine now so they can disengage for the next 4 years except to learn that all failed expectations are because of lib plants of the deep state.
