Video/Gif "you can never use too much salt"

I love the fingers tapping the chin. That’s a thinking face if I’ve ever seen one! Then the act of shifting the powder (way too much for a single egg, regardless of what it actually is) to scramble the egg…so funny!

"UGH, this is the saltiest thing I've ever tasted, and I once ate a heaping bowl of salt!" -Fry

There was nothing wrong with that food, the salt level was 10% less than a lethal dose.

Downvotes for saying it looks like powdered sugar? Lol. Turns out you don't need to be an American to be petty.

Can we talk about how they cracked an egg then wiped it on their shirt. I crack eggs then wash my hands immediately to avoid cross contamination.

eggs, particularly in north america are sterile. salmonella isn't generally found inside the shell but on the outside, but they are sanitized at the factory in america.

u/Inurian59 2d ago
It's actually specifically BECAUSE america washes their eggs that salmonella can get inside of the shell. It removes a protective layer called the "bloom" that makes an egg impervious to microorganisms. Because we do this, we are less likely to have anything dangerous or dirty on the outside of the shell, but it makes the eggs inside have a not inconsiderable chance of being contaminated with salmonella if not cooked to a high enough temperature. We also don't inoculate our chickens against salmonella.

Yep, UK too. I imagine this is commonplace in most countries.

u/NuggetNasty 2d ago
AFAIK UK keeps their eggs unrefrigerated and you can't do that unless they're unwashed

Egg shells are covered in poop here (yes, even in the stores) and the egg whites are sticky.
You're gross lol. Wash your hands!
Not American btw.

"Whats wrong? it's only half a lethal dose of salt for humans"
"So I shouldn't have had seconds?"

Love the little chin scratch. “Hmmm… it feels like it’s missing…. Oh I know - a shit ton more salt!”

Sodium overload! I’ve seen several cases of people 💀 their kids with salt

Why would you let a kid that young cook? It’s like when they let kids onto a kitchen with Jordan Ramsey in it

aww that’s really cute. Learning how to cook at a young age is an extremely important skill- it’s a skill anyone can learn and become progressively better at. Looks like she’s gonna improve from this and learn how to make her eggs more sweeter in a healthy way next time!
