It’s crazy how tv off and luther became the big streamers off the album after the anticipation of squabble up. I hope they get the single treatment, specifically luther. That has the making of a major hit single.

tv off is his most infectious song in years, moreso than Not Like Us I think. That beat and the chorus are so hype.

squabble up is a great west coast style song but I think tv off almost outshines it in a lot of ways.

I feel that squabble up is just clearly the easy access song with limited replay value. Imo was always gonna lose steam when most of us heard the instrumental and intro 50 times before hearing the song.

Yeah, I'm not tryna be a hater, but there are a couple parts of squabble up that don't really hit, at least for a lot of people. The actual verses are heat from start to finish, especially the last verse. However, the hook is funny but not that sonically pleasing, and the middle area with the with the crowd shouting seems a little unnecessary. Otherwise the song is an absolute banger though.

I think there's way more overlap on Arctic Monkeys and Kendrick fans than you'd expect. Alex Turner and Kendrick both focus on lyrics, just in two different styles. So it appeals to people who love good lyrics

It is, but it really doesn’t click for me. I feel similarly about SZA’s last album. There’s definitely some good songs but I don’t think it clicks for me overall. I really like ctrl and her mixtapes though and would listen to those on repeat constantly.

Gloria, The Heart Part 6 and Reincarnated are the best songs on the album IMO. A lot of depth and artistry in those three but I understand the best most meaningful music is often slept on by the 99%

Gloria and Reincarnated are the best songs on the album for sure. (in my opinion) THP6 is in the bottom half of the Heart series (it’s still very good though).

I’d just rather listen to a lot of other songs over part 6 lol. THP6 doesn’t really tell us anything new we didn’t already know, unlike other Heart songs, nor is it catchy, unlike lots of other songs on the album.

Most people can’t think for themselves and do t even know that they are incapable of independent thought. I heard someone say Reincarnated was “cringe”. The use of the word cringe says a lot already…. Not respecting the artistry says something as well.

It’s like when “watch the party die” dropped people always feel the need to say “this has no replay value” or “I’m not listening again but it’s cool” I’ve been listening to that song still because he’s telling you something of value but I get it people just want to hear up tempo flow over an uptempo beat even if these mfs aren’t even audible 😭
