The ink and pen used here were also gifted — by my sister and my partner respectively ☺️

I make my own simple leather bound journals and fill them with simple watercolor paintings, postcards, letters, tarot cards and dried flowers among other things and my musings on my life. Here are a few photos of all of that.

I’ve since gone back to a regular journal doing mainly text only entries, but this was fun 😊
I still keep it as a doodling journal. Materials I used: posca pens and similar acrylic pens, and Gelly roll pens. For “erasing” I use black permanent felt pens

I just thought I'd share a couple of my favorite pages from last month. I'm a 90s kid and definitely feeling nostalgic.

These are the journals (purple themed) that have kept me going 🥹 It’s been so nice to see how I’ve improved and developed my journaling style - it just got better and better 🥰💜

This journal in particular is only for the highlights, I used a regular A5 notebook for observations during the trip 🥰

I keep about one of these a year, using a watercolor moleskine sketchbook. They used to be more travel based, but now they’re a lot of drawings of my kids and wife. :) Some watercolor, some gouache, some ink. I just try and cement little memories and moments in time.

Random papers and clippings I find or am given throughout the week all haphazardly placed in a much abused journal 📔

1st pic is now, 2nd in last year. I used a really cheap ($8) set of watercolors back then just to prove to myself I can draw nicely even with cheaper supplies. I’m using some new markers and highlighters I just got now in this pic. Which one do you prefer?
