Wall of text My absolute favourite pink ink (Pilot G2)

Post image

I hope you enjoy this! I used flash because that shows how the pink looks most accurately. I saw they have a pack of these pens on Amazon but it came with some other inferior pinks I wasn’t fond of lmfao. I’ve tried soooo many other pink inks but G2 still has the best one.

What’s your favourite pink ink?

BIC Gelocity quick dry gel pens are my favorite inexpensive colored ink ever!

I really like Pentel Energel 0.7mm! Very cute pink. Also been getting into Pentonic gel pens as well. Slightly scratchier and the ink is a lighter shade of pink. I have pilot G2's as well but have kind of fallen out of love with them! The last few I've bought have not been smooth or easy to write with. Might just be my stationary store.

pentel energel 0.5 is legit my favourite pen EVER. really smooth writing, nice colors, comfy to write with, not scratchy, and dries incredibly quickly. i just got a few refills of different colours actually & im so excited to try them (i got brown, burgundy, and a few others)

edit: also yeah, i hardly use g2 anymore since i love the energel so much. i had a similar experience, i used the black 0.7 in high school all the damn time but i actually ended up switching to papermate inkjoys towards the end because i kept getting pens that skipped or just didn’t flow properly:/ guess its a quality control issue

edit 2: i remember the inkjoys being a dream to write with, they have a really light feeling to them which i loved! i kinda write with a lot of pressure so a light pen is really nice to have

Yes! Pentel Energels are amazing!!! For all the reasons you listed. I have a set of like 10 of them with all different colours (including two different shades of blue and green). I had a turquoise one too but can't find it locally again. They're such high quality for a fairly affordable price and there's SO much variety in colour. They're truly amazing and I feel like I rarely hear people talk about them.

It's interesting to hear that other people had issues with G2. It does sound like a quality control issue if it's this across the board. Unfortunate too because after initially having an amazing experience with them I bought like 20 of them lol and like...almost none of them worked? And the store I bought them from had no returns. So THAT was a bummer lol. I've never had that issue with Pentel Energels so now they're my go to brand.

It's a gorgeous pink! It's crazy that I would see your post because I'm doing some late night journaling and I remembered a pen made by Pen Gear that is a shade of pink that is just GORGEOUS to me! I discovered it in 2017 in my local Walmart and the pens by Pen Gear had just released going for $3.97 (Now, those same pens are going for almost $8!😵‍💫) and I bought them on a whim. I'm so glad I did. I bought another box before the price raise just so I could have this soft almost dark pink or grapefruit pink pen. It's just truly gorgeous and looks so pretty on different types of paper.🤭

I actually just tried to send you a chat message so that I can show you the shade of this pen. But, I don't think the lighting does it justice. But, its pretty! Maybe one day. *grins*
