Telling jokes about police brutality, when you were the actual victim of police brutality, is BDG. Hopefully the damage wasn't permanent!
Also, more context please! Were you part of the wild goose-stepping anti-semitic pogrom horde threatening the lives of innocent Israeli real estate agents spruiking West Bank settlements?
Edit: BDG??? I meant BDE!

Honestly if you're around activists a lot, there are so many jokes about police brutality ahah. I have a few myself, fortunately not as intense as being rubber bulleted. You do have to laugh, and fortunately cops are dumb enough that they often provide comedy material in otherwise distressing situation.

Yooo I heard you on Atheer Yacoub’s “Toxic Dump” Podcast!!! Mikey Intifada sounds like the most badass rap name an anti-Zionist Jew could have, btw.

So the cop did... what you are actually supposed to do with rubber bullets?

What no? This is a condemnation of cops. Who use rubber bullets like normal bullets instead of trying to ricochet them. Thats how these bullets are meant to be used.

Whoa! I didn’t know that. Not from a gun nutter country. What’s this about?

From what I understand, rubber bullets can be lethal or cause severe injury if fired directly - people have lost eyes and stuff like that when hit and there are a few cases of deaths. The "intended" use is to fire them off the ground so they bounce up and don't hit as hard, but in practice cops will just go and aim for the head or chest regardless.
Also it sounds like this cop resorted to firing it less dangerously only after he was prevented from his god-given blue line right to aim for the head lmao... maybe people need like an umbrella + safety goggles + armoured codpiece type of situation 😔

Thanks for the explanation! Always heard people being hit by them in the face and chest so thought that’s how they’re normally used. This makes sense.
