Looking for Recommendations in Jakarta

My girlfriend and I recently moved to Jakarta and are eager to explore the city's offerings. We're looking for recommendations for one-on-one and group classes in the following: * Muay Thai * Tennis * Swimming * Bahasa Indonesian * Western Music (Vocals and Piano) * Personal Training

Any recommendations for skilled trainers or coaches, and ballpark rates, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

know some martial arts trainer, and also have one of them to train my daughter for kickboxing.

for kids, id recommend to go to Rockstar Gym. For adults, Fitness First.

where in jakarta tho?

• muay thai : several in south, like KMCC in cipete or the one in Kemang area. some gym also have muay thai class for group sessions (fithub, anytime fitness, i think Fitness First have one)

• tennis : if you live in apartment with a court, you can ask the management they may connect you with a trainer

• swimming : there's one in Citos, senayan, jatinegara etc. or you can use fitness first gym by joining membership (only available in some of their locations). also for PT you can get one in FF

• bahasa indonesian : university of Indonesia have BIPA program

• Western Music : idk, you mean like classical? need to follow the orchestra group social media account to know their concert. else, sometime there are one in cultural place (Goethe, Salihara, Taman Ismail Marzuki, Erasmus etc)

Hi! I can recommend you KYZN for both kids and adults, it’s a sport center with multiple classes from badminton, soccer, tennis, muay thai, swimming , etc. One membership for all. I can give you a reco perhaps you can get a better deal than published rate, hmu!

I'd be happy to recommend my dad's PT, a friend who offers piano lessons, and muay Thai and vocal coaches I've worked with. DM me if interested.

There's an English language Jakarta International Community Choir that you might want to check out. It's founded by celebrity vocal coach Indra Azis, who is expensive to work with privately, but JICC gives you affordable communal access to him.

I don't know any swimming coaches and don't play tennis. What are your accommodation arrangements in Jakarta like? My parents live in an apartment that comes with a communal pool, and I've seen their neighbours get together to play tennis with a coach. But I'm guessing you're asking because your accommodation don't come with these.

Depending on where you live in Jakarta... there's the Pondok Indah Water Park at Pondok Indah Mall... the public Kolam Renang Cikini at Hotel Ibis Cikini... Kolam Renang Plaza Festival... Aquatic GBK in Gelora...and many more.

For Tennis, if you live somewhere in Kuningan area I'd recommend going to Love Tennis Academy for their lessons.
