This article is more than a week old, and have later been found to be an extremely exaggerated propaganda piece. In fact it was only a very small group of people who have been denounced by the rest of their community

I'd assume they'd rather be citizens of a first-world country with equal rights, the rule of law, socialized medicine, and employment than be butchered or sold into sex slavery by the Islamists who took over the country.

If you read any of the comments on any of the Israeli sites, it's apparent that Israeli Jews like and respect Druze.

Seems like there’s been a lot of public outcry by the community AGAINST such annexation, since the article’s published date — worth noting that the IDF shot a peaceful protestor in the leg just recently as well
