Middle East Jordinian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi responds to Netanyahu's claims that Israel is surrounded by countries that want its destruction

u/Usernameoverloaded Sep 30 '24
He’s so angry and trying to hold it in so that he can give a dignified response. Don’t blame him whatsoever. This needed to be said.

u/The_Un_1 Sep 30 '24 edited Oct 01 '24
He said all that needs to be said. It's clear as can be that BiBi the destroyer wants only to finish his ethnic cleansing. Obviously he thinks if he pushes and pushes that eventually when he starts getting pushed back apon, that his big homie the United states will get involved and then JFC.... Idk what could put it in his head that Americans will ever be going and dying for anything over there. Not for him, his bullshit country or anything else(.) Karmas a bitch bibi have fun reaping. You'll get no love from anyone other than anti semetic evangelical skitzos. And there isn't enough of them to make much difference anymore. Their numbers grow smaller and smaller every single day. (⸸)

American soldiers have died for much less
8
u/HippoRun23 Oct 01 '24
Was gonna say.
America’s propaganda game is the envy of the world.the MiC (and I guess deteriorating material conditions) has so brilliantly captured the minds of Americans that we will always stand for the flag, thank our troops (not sure why) and kneel to police:
It’s retched. But it’s brilliant.
5
u/The_Un_1 Oct 01 '24
It's partially because of movies like hurt locker, and also just with how many people personally know guys who went over there after 2001 and know the stuff they were in the middle of. It's also from feelings of American "exceptionalism", which is what's doing most of the heavy lifting ATM, I think
5
u/Glad-Dragonfruit-503 Oct 01 '24
Its copaganda as well. There are so many shows glamorising the militarization of the police and demonisation of criminals. Its very black and white. Even the superhero movies are copaganda really. America as the worlds police force.
6
u/The_Un_1 Sep 30 '24
No doubt... But it's getting to the point where young men aren't quite as willing to go and die / get maimed over seas for.... "Freedom" Anyone with a halfway functional moral compass has seen the images coming from out of Gaza. Believe it or not, one doesn't need to see way too many pictures of emaciated infants / toddlers.... That were killed not from starvation, but from aircraft ordinance. These boys know what a monster is and how they operate. The propaganda that was used to drum up consent back after 2001 isnt going to work for this generation. No matter how many times they wanna holler [TERRORIST] smh. That term, and also the often used 'anti-Semite' have all but lost meaning at this point

Israel is the most powerful country in the mideast by a wide, wide margin.
Protesting that every country wants to get them is the largest pile of horseshit in modern history.
The truth of the matter is no country around them wishes to end up in ruins like Gaza and the West Bank, like Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.
The sooner the world is rid of the Israeli far right and the brainwashing of their population has been corrected the better for everyone.
-3
u/lord_pizzabird Oct 01 '24
Israel is the most powerful country in the mideast by a wide, wide margin.
They actually aren't, not independently at least. The only reason we think that they're even that powerful is essentially just anti-semitic mythology (claims that they control the weather, banking etc globally).
We're talking about resource poor country (no oil) with a relatively small population at only 9 million, compare to their rival Iran at 88 million.
The rest of the middle east, including Israel and Saudi Arabia have to combine forces to even compete with Iran in the region.
6
u/passporttohell Ireland Oct 01 '24
This New York Times article disagrees with you. I have studied the middle east and militaries for years. You need to re examine this fiction.
Also this document from the Defense Intelligence Agency.

I can second this. They have great academia too. Most of their universities research end up being converted into useable products and systems. The iron dome, pumpless uphill plant watering system are just a few too name. I've interacted with a few Israeli scholars and I was clearly WOWed by their work. They are really good at hydroponics. They need to overthrow the current regime. Not all Israelis want war. Just a sect.
1
u/passporttohell Ireland Oct 01 '24
Agreed, in spite of absolutely evil things there is a lot of good things Israel and Israelis are responsible for.
The hard part is moving them away from the evil that permeates the place.
2
u/The_Un_1 Oct 02 '24
The iron dome isn't something that I personally would try to hold up as some great accomplishment. Instead of making an iron dome, maybe don't give your neighbors a reason to fire missiles or rockets at you and put that effort / money into helping the people you obviously don't want in your society and... Oh idk,.... Build a place that's actually livable that can really be a home for them, easing tensions so that maybe one day the hate will fade away like it naturally would if allowed to. But nah I get it, building rockets and guns and or spending money on them is much better because then you get to go around commiting war crimes and genociding everyone and their momma with impunity because the gullible Religous nitwits of aMeRiCa actually believe that you're "gods people", and since they foam at the mouth at the thought of dead israelies causing the hOlY aPocAlYPse, they not only look the other way, they send more and more bombs happily. Smfh Lol how lucky for these cretins that their God doesn't actually exist
2
u/passporttohell Ireland Oct 02 '24
Could not agree more.
Zionists and American Christian nationalists have a hell of a lot to learn about living peacefully with others.

First off, you linked an article behind I paywall (on purpose probably).
Second, nothing in that document contradicts anything I said. Did you read it?

It's the religious skitzos that can't wait for "those who murdered Jesus" to have their ruins smote down to hell smfh. It's the craziest shit that I've ever heard of before personally, and these gullible skitzoids with their dreams of some psychotic grand "holy" apocalypse are sitting in seats of power that they should never have been considered for in the first place. Smfh. The worst part is, no matter how bad they fuck us and the planet off, even if they personally die in fire. As they drift off they'll be in their crazy fkn heads, just gd jumping for joy because they think that they're supposed to cause the end of the fkn world and now are about to go to the "holy after party in the sky" to be with grandma & grandpa. Am I the gd crazy one here, or is that kinda B's not cause for Everygdbody to be like.... Ho.... hol... Hold tf up you guys.... Youve been praying for what now..... ?
Nobody ever seems to want to talk about that aspect of all this. Even though it's the exact reason why it's all being allowed to happen in the first gd place. Religious weirdos are so fkn sad and weird to think that for 1. That their Religous stories are actually real life. And 2. That the god character from their 'fictional' theology for some reason needs the help of some humans to make sure that Israel is setting where it currently is. Lol. Like, oh yeah, that makes ALL the fkn sense. These Fkn clown-shoe excuses for people are the Biggest fucking narcissists that have ever walked the gd earth, for certain. He's flabbergasted and angry. This is just insane.
Israel has destroyed a lot of illusions about fairness and peace and morality in this world.

u/Appropriate_Ant_4629 Sep 30 '24
Israel makes a lot of money going to the US saying "I need more military aid because some people hate me".
That means it's profitable for them to make more people hate them, so they can get even more US Tax Money.

u/Fit_Helicopter1949 Sep 30 '24
Israel is in a fast track to pure fascism. They don’t want any peace and they will find any excuse to keep killing and waging wars.

I'd argue it's been there for a while. Netanyahu isn't a popular politician and is only in charge because he knows how to abuse the political system there to his advantage.

Netanyahu has had a surge in popularity right now

u/DanyDragonQueen Oct 01 '24
Which goes to show the deeply unwell mindstate of the Israeli people at large. I feel bad for all the normal, non-fashy people who live there, as few as they may be

I saw a statement by some Chinese official and he said Israel is targeting children because the birth rate of western countries have dropped drastically and they want the population ratio to remain. How heinous is that.
1
u/PickleMortyCoDm Oct 01 '24
Yeah, if that comes out as true I think that is going into territory worthy of Stalin

u/Kafshak Sep 30 '24
Gee, I wonder when his car is going to blow up, and everyone blames HA. We have seen this scenario happen a thousand times.

Israel is the only one pushing for war/violence, even the USA doesn't really want war here (at least that's what they say publicly). Idk how anyone can see this and say that they don't want peace.

u/Neco-Arc-Chaos Sep 30 '24
Israel only exists, and is only funded by the US to such an extent because it’s willing to colonize its neighbours

Yes, Israel is a proxy for USA aggression, and is a foothold for the USA in the middle east.

People are commenting about how the US doesn’t want war. I think it’s better to say that the US does not benefit from this war in the long run so it does not make sense that they are funding it this heavily. They benefit only in the short term, which is why I feel like the leadership is entirely too incompetent.

What could they do to stop Israel? At this point what you say is like blaming a hostage for not fighting off the bad guys that keep them captive.

What are they going to do? Send troops into Gaza?

Do Arabs want a two-state solution? Most people I have spoken aren’t in favor of a 2SS.
A plan involving many comprises for both sides (including splitting Jerusalem btw Israelis and Palestinians, which was a very controversial idea for the Israeli PM to suggest) was proposed at Camp David and was ultimately rejected. And unfortunately, the left wing lost power in Israel soon afterwards.
2SS sounds great in theory, but how can it be applied? And why did the Arabs reject it the last time?
This isn’t me supporting Israel, just genuinely trying to gain some insight into the situation.

Do you understand how diplomacy works? lol, imagine any minister or world leader saying something like that..
6
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
I mean, plenty do say that
And even then, almost all arab governments are either monarchies or dictatorships, so it's no wonder that no minester would ever say something like that when they benefit from isreal
Also, a terrorist state like isreal should not be dealt with diplomatically as they will never accept the terms that are fair without being forced by either the US or from an armed resistance
1
u/BangBang116 Sep 30 '24
I mean, plenty do say that
Who is plenty? No country that wants to be taken seriously by the international community says shit like this..
Also, a terrorist state like isreal should not be dealt with diplomatically as they will never accept the terms that are fair without being forced by either the US or from an armed resistance
No doubt about this, if israel would ever be in an underadvantaged position they would go full isis mode. We would have terroristic threats and attacks all over the west. They have done it in the past too.
6
u/Funny-Major-9882 Sep 30 '24
Who is plenty? No country that wants to be taken seriously by the international community says shit like this..
Netanyahu is *constantly* rejecting calls for diplomacy and saying he won't be made to coexist with his enemies, but Arabs are told they must constantly signal that they're willing to coexist with *him*. It's pure absurdity.
3
u/BangBang116 Sep 30 '24
True, I'm not disagreeing at all, if an arab state uses the same words as satanyahu they would be labeled as terrorists.
2
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
So it's either you cooperate with terrorists and give them what they want, so they terrorize the levant
Or fight them until they accept just terms
Like return of Palestinians to their homes and removal of settlements on stolen land?
1
u/BangBang116 Sep 30 '24
Those are exactly the same words israhel uses though.
The reality is that this can't be fixed with violence, because israel is millitary wise in a very advantaged position. You can only win diplomaticaly, I believe that over time more countries will recognize Palestine as a state and more things will be set in motion.
2
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
What things
If the current parts of palestine are recognized
Palestinians will still not be able to return to their homes in jaffa and Haifa and Jerusalem
There would be no justice they would still be surrounded by a violent ethno-nationalist state who will not rest until they get their ethnostate
And this is nothing liem what isrealis say, isrealis themselves say that they want an ethno state, the original zionists called it a colonial project
The best of isreali governments will try to keep Palestinians in native American style reservation camps
Allowing Palestinians to return homes would destroy the Jewish state
That's why no diplomacy will ever convince them to let that happen
They are founded on violent colonial genocide
Their state core is rotten
28
u/Usernameoverloaded Sep 30 '24
Well they are not going anywhere, so to be pragmatic one needs to secure dignity, independence and security for Palestine and the surrounding populations. Israel’s impunity needs to be removed and their soldiers and politicians on trial for war crimes. The right of return and reparations for refugees and all those displaced from their homes.
8
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
If this happens, then that would essentially be the destruction of isreal
Palestinians worldwide are double the isreali population
They would out vote the settlers
And jewish israeli would leave the area once they lose their supremacy and control, similar to white colonizers and settlers in African countries after decolonization
This would essentially just create a single Palestinian state
That's why isrsel will never let this happen
8
u/brainking111 Sep 30 '24
Bullshit you still have North Ireland after the troubles , Germany came together after the war , hate is really easy that's why Bibi spread it like wildfire, but a two state solution can happen with Both sides having dignity it just needs support from a third party that has the leverage to keep both sides playing nice not one side looking away while Israel does ethnic cleansing.

Yes I am aware, that fascism is coming from Bibi and friends. I might be wrong but I am optimistic and believe that if the fascism is gone their might be a chance but it would be a slim chance with a lot of problems and it would need a power that would not just looked away at the genocide.
4
u/nikiyaki Sep 30 '24
Palestine needs to be armed or protected to similar capacity to exist alongside Israel. There are civilians that go every day to prevent food getting to starving people. These are the kind of people they're being asked to live with.
1
u/OMAR13122007 Oct 01 '24
Netanyahu is the reason israel is doing genocide
He is a symptom of the genocidal core of the zionist ideology
Israel has been a left leaning state for most of the war crimes it has commited
5
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
Execpt that one side is on Palestinian land All of isreal is Palestinian land
They were all Palestinian villages that were depopulate and filled with European Jewish settlers
They don't deserve to hold any of it
For Palestinians to return home, there would be no jewish majority in isreal
0
u/mittelmasse Sep 30 '24
lots of those jews were born on that land, a compromise MUST be found. If people keep thinking in absolutes there will just be further violence
8
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
They were born on stolen land and benefited every day from the occupation
What would you suggest happen when the land Palestinians are returning to are occupied by European jewish settlers whose parents stole the land that they benefit from
Who should get the land then?
-1
u/mittelmasse Sep 30 '24
they are not responsible for the sins of their parents. Its what they call home. I think a true 2S solution is the only way forward even if that entails generations of people that hate each other living in close proximity. Ethnic cleansing of one group or the other is NOT the solution
9
u/OMAR13122007 Sep 30 '24
But they do benefit from their parents' crimes
A home that was stolen from other people
Removing people from stolen land that was taken through rape and violence is not ethnic cleansing
It's the reversal of ethnic cleansing and the decolinization of the land
You are suggesting that Palestinians should just shut up and not try to go back to their homes and accept the borders that the colonizing forces imposed on them because the people who stole their homes got attached
-5
u/mittelmasse Sep 30 '24
ok how far do you want to go back? Obviously Israel should give back the land it has been settling illegaly in recent history. But you cannot seriously think dissolution of the entirety of Israel will work out for anyone.

How about the Israelis can stay there, but they have to find new homes when a Palestinian can provide proof of ownership?
1
Sep 30 '24
Yeah so crazy everywhere else you have to buy a house from whoever owns it and if you steal you go to court.
1
Sep 30 '24
Yes. They need to compromise. If they don’t want to live with the indigenous people without apartheid they can go somewhere else. If they want to stay they can stay and live with equal rights in a free Palestine.
