The cuban government has always stood against apartheid as a system

Off topic. It was unecessary for the ANC to bring Cuban doctors, teachers, and engineers when millions do not have jobs in South Africa.
But thats a whole different discussion. Irrelevant to the post.

Sokka-Haiku by face4theRodeo:

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

As can be witnessed by a flew of anti-Cuban articles suddenly appearing in the past week and being highly upvoted on reddit and other social media sites, petty to the extreme the US is.

I'm surprised they hadn't already joined? Do they even have relations with Israel?

They have greatly enhanced the country's healthcare system and improved the lives of the poor, despite a massive campaign of terrorism and economic suppression carried out against them by the US.
No government is perfect, but I will take the post-revolution Cuba over the US-backed Batista dictatorship any day.
And regardless of what you think of them, they are doing the right thing here.

Cuba has never invaded or threatened anybody... I'm shocked at how so many Americans are still so ignorant and fall victim to red scare

It doesnt matter if cuba, Venezuela , el salvador, Guatemala , peru or 100 countries that band together. A) they cant do it by strenght B) they cant do it politically nor as a coalition.
C) the service men protection act stipulates the united states can and will do anything to free military or personnel employed by the military if they face the criminal court.
Subsection (b) gives these same protections to Israel, the u.s.a has to bomb the hague if the icc/icj tries to jail nethanyahu or IDF soldiers.
And its like article 5 of nato. If the Israeli politicians or military call america to invoke the right granted by contractual obligation, we must respond.
Aka if Gondor calls for aid, Rohan will answer.
