But try to explain about how Israel took the land from the Canaanites…who are the ancestors of many Arab cultures and they go silent. Israelis were not the indigenous people in that area. Canaanites were.

But the Israelists had to conquer the people that were there when they returned from Egypt to create the “kingdom of Israel” that people like to base their argument on. So I’ll admit my mistakes, can you admit yours?

Your article doesn't indicate that they are native to the levant. Only that they share DNA of peoples from the mediterranean, which the article explains. From the article " The relatively close relatedness of both Jews and Palestinians to western Mediterranean populations reflects the continuous circum-Mediterranean cultural and gene flow that have occurred in prehistoric and historic times." Again, it is widely believed that the Palestinians are the direct descendants of the Peleset, who sailed to Egypt from somewhere in the Mediterranean. Perhaps from as far away as Corsica or Sardinia. The Israelites are a religous split from the Caananites when they took their pantheon of Gods and reduced it to just one God. Yahweh.

It literally says “Palestinians come from ancient Canaanites”.

“Palestinians, among other Levantine groups, were found to derive 81–87% of their ancestry from Bronze age Levantines, relating to Canaanites as well as Kura–Araxes culture impact from before 2400 BCE (4400 years before present); 8–12% from an East African source and 5–10% from Bronze age Europeans.
