Maybe this is why those diaspora zionist ex-Muslims were so insistent on making the atheist attacker to be a Shia Muslim doing Taqiyyah™️ — they dont want to lose their neat little servile seats in the flashy empire. Do they not understand that theyre catering to fascists who'll never tolerate them?

That was literally just one Iranian and Muslims claim "not actually Muslim" at every terrorist attack anyway. So where's the big difference?
"Converting out of islam for easy asylum" is a stupid anti-apostate myth. And last thing we need is to take an Muslim-supremacist conspiracy theory seriously.
Former Muslims are accused of every bad adjective on earth while being legislated against in extremely Draconian ways.

It's possible that at some level it's a deliberate fascist overreach by Visegrad and co. themselves after finding out that the attacker was their fan.

Taqiyyah is a practice in Shia Islam where people are allowed to hide their faith if expressing it would result in facing persecution or getting killed, which is a massive history of Shia Muslims. It has nothing to do with lying to deceive to push an Islamic agenda or any such thing. The West is now imposing antisemitic caricatures onto Muslims, especially on Shia Muslims.

No one actually knows wtf taqiyyah is in the average Muslim country. Anglo right wingers fell upon the term one day and created a whole conspiracy theory about it. However it's an obscure term for most Muslims.

It's pretty well known around Shia communities just because of how much Wahabbis accuse us of BS, and our sheiks often go into sermons on the topic to clarify to the community.
Tho I've only ever been accused of Taquiya to my face once, and it was by a Zionist.

Yeah the only other guy I know irl who knew what taqiyya was has Shia relatives and grew up in Iraq. But since Tunisia is 99% Sunni most never heard of it.
I too was accused of it online and I'm not even Muslim lol. Just a right winger who disliked that an Arab disagreed with them.

It legit comes off as if it's an antisemitic trope.

A lot of antisemitic tropes are repurposed for Muslims these days. For Palestinians most especially.
