opinion I feel bad for Justina
Justina seems so sweet and seeing how Annette was controlling the shopping for the tux, and then the mother & son dance was gross.
She freaks me out with her big creepy smile.
Her son needs a spine and needs to have a talk with the mom.
Also, anybody else think Jason looks like his mom, but with facial hair? Lol
I don't know what's in store for the next seasons but this mom is unhinged.
When she peeked around the corner and said "here's mommy", I just pictured Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

When they both told the daughter she could have one toy at the store and Annette started saying i will buy you whatever you want. I was fuming and ready to throw hands. Do not override the parent to a small child.

Yes I feel for her so much! Out of all the mothers on this show, my MIL is exactly like Annette. Only difference is that we live on the other side of the world from her now. And she blames me every day for taking her son, who is now 45, away from her.

I hate when MILs put blame on their son's significant others. It's so frustrating. If you want your son happy, be supportive of the woman who makes him happy

I thought that this could have been one scenario where it wasn’t staged. Annette was so needy and pushy and actually pitiful.

Annette is a text book narcissist. She is an abuser. She emotionally manipulates everyone around her and throws tantrums when they don't give in.
I absolutely despise her. Her son needs to grow a spine and tell her to fuck off and stop being scared of protecting her feelings.

Yes, she continously triangulates her son between herself and Justine.
Justine clearly doesn't see Annette as a source of competition but you can tell Annette sees Justine that way with every shred of her being. She then forces a competitive and hostile atmosphere into every interaction that involves her son.
She strikes me as the type of coworker that is in a hostile competition between herself and a younger female coworker who has no idea what her problem is.
For Annette, it's all about winning against Justine and exerting control over their relationship. Annettes narcissistic source is fulfilled everytime her son responds passively and allows her to facilitate the imaginary competition Annette holds against Justine.

I actually got so mad at Jason when Justina told him to say something specific and he went to his mom and turned things around to make Justina the bad guy and obviously Annette got defensive "defending her little boy", like grow a pair man and do and say what your woman is telling you to do and say and don't lie to them to your convenience...

They aren’t in the next season because Annette didn’t like the way the show made her look lol
