I was always confused why people thought Sparkle was cute.
Then I played HI3rd for her crossover.
HOLY CRAP the Japanese VA gives a different vibe. Both are good, but the English voice has a lot more gremlin energy and the Japanese is just freaking adorable.
I feel like Itto's come to terms with his uh...model issues since Alhaitham. Also I'm pretty sure it's the first time we've seen the muscles be that defined (and exposed) on a human male character (Boothill has extra defined metal abs). Gepard could be a contender too though
Mydei will hopefully be good for muscular men enjoyers too. It’s never been my thing but I’m happy that side of the community is finally getting more characters
after seeing that trailer my deep hopes is that they touch upon the trailblazer potentially being a kaslana expy like they teased in penacony with acherons different gender dialogs
In HSR specifically? We have no real idea right now.
But for the fanbase? He's important because this man is an Alt of "Kevin Kaslana", the main antagonist of Hi3, a character that is super cool, fairly well written, and also one of the holy trinity of male Hi3 characters that Hi3 players wanted playable.
Another reason that people are super hyped about him showing up is that he just generally looks like a super well designed male character with Abs and everything, which is very rare in Hoyoverse games, so people are just happy to have another hot dude to thirst over.

Well it also blue eyes, neck strap, cape, and yes same face shape. HI3 model of Kebin feels different, that's why i guess my first impression was that he reminds me of Luka.
i need him closer to fem gooners i like when females are gooners too they are so funny~ but straight ones hhaha shiping themselves with they... is cringe but is fun is what men do so why not let females enjoy more hahha because they already had Sunday
Phainon's facial structure feels slightly longer, perhaps because of the softer expression he looks even younger. Although having an extremely generic design always helps them resemble each other, I guess.
tbf, I think this more of a fault of Kevin unironically having the most inconsistent facial structure out of any Hoyo character I've seen. He'll look young as shit in the manga 2d, and like 10 years older in other ones. And don't even get me started on how looks in the second eruption manga. Like just look at this.
Yeah basically this. He's got a bad 3d model too (imo) that kinda makes him goofy in some angles. Like, he had different 3d models because Hoyo can't decide which is the best. Best iteration of Kevin's appearance is probably the one from Otto's Animation Short, Because of You and 2nd Key manga. He looked most handsome and badass there. The only consistent thing about him is the three ahoge lmao
Oh great... can't wait for him to ruin this games in-universe powerscaling and his rabid fans to continually explain why he's stronger than everyone character in the game combined and spout unfunny memes about replacing 1 letter in his name...
Really wish they never made an expy of this dude...
That's like almost every fanbase for every HSR character ever. Not saying it's okay, but it's weird to single out Kevin who is much needed expy at this point.
