Don't forget our hard-working movie theater folks! In our town, the movie theaters are a frikkin mob scene on Christmas. Poor bastards have to clean up after us all AND are subjected to the "Wicked" - sing along version.

Nursing home, retirement home, hospital staff that aren’t medical. Aka cooks, cleaners, techs, maintenance, servers, dishwashers, etc.

Housekeeping at hotels too. They didn't let any of us have Christmas off because we were usually full, it was an easy day of stay overs but still.

Yeah we go on minimum staffing.
But it's more of a tool to force everyone to use all of their yearly accumulated leave at a time that is convenient for the upper chain rather than throughout the year for silly things like vacations or weddings.

Veterans deserve your thanks and respect. "The Military" is a murder machine that funnel funds from taxpayers to oligarchs.
