Found this interesting article from the Economist basically supporting this criticism of HTS, reporting on Idlib protests in March this year about Al-Jumani's brutal treatment of political opponents, his reliance on Turkey (and thus NATO) and the day-to-day economic downturn experienced from overspending on development for capital interest.
