I understand what you are saying about them being instigators but it still doesn’t justify violence. The people in the article I linked also harassed jews in university’s, they vandalized city’s, universities, statues and public property. They BURNED American flags and called for genocide of people and yet they didn’t end up beaten up, run over and thrown into a river. This isn’t a whataboutism i’m just highlighting that a violent response seems to be justified for a certain group of people and they are being called heroes.
