They’re both doing inhumane acts. True. The numbers don’t matter though. One side needs to surrender. It’s an armed conflict and an ultimatum was given. Accept it or fight. That’s what happens.

Raping one or one thousand is still rape. The allies killed 10x the number of Germans than they killed us (Russia excluded) in ww2. Were we the baddies? The number of dead don’t matter. Stopping the conflict does. To stop the conflict you need to either surrender/accept terms, sue for peace or deliver accepted terms. This has not happened yet.

Both sides are horrible here.

Yes both sides are horrible. And yet there is still no equivalence between the occupier and the occupied. Zero equivalence between he who made the refugees and the refugees themselves. However, one is called a terrorist by western institutions but the other is not ? My point wasn’t to say hamas is somehow absolved of the immorality that comes with atrocities. Simply pointed out to the fellow above that throwing around charges like terrorism and being unable to apply that to both groups when they commit the same atrocities is pathetic.

Yes, they know it’s give up or fight, and they chose to fight. Whatever the outcome may be they decided death was better than living under a brutal occupation in which 43 children were killed in the West Bank in 2023 PRIOR to Oct 7.

Thanks for your contribution to the conversation. Just saying I’m well versed in the history of the area. Research complete and paid for. Now used solely as a means to argue with people online.
