Badass. Say what you want about new Ferraris but I think it’s bold of them to keep innovating. I never like the new models at first but eventually they grow on me. To think that I thought the 360 and 458 were ugly..

They’ll come back around to softer shapes in the future I’m sure. It’s like with iPhones, every other design is either curved or boxy.

u/daBomb26 1d ago

Well said. I remember being unsure of LaFerrari and P1 when they came out, and wasn’t a fan of the 458 either. I think the most forward thinking, bold designs are the ones that age better and become iconic.

u/muricaa 1d ago

I remember when people hated the Enzo. It’s the same every new generation.

0

u/JONATHANSWIFT69 1d ago

No one hated the Enzo.

10

u/PsychologyAlert7711 23h ago

a lot of people thought it looked weird

5

u/astropiggie 21h ago

I was about when the 288 came out. Loved it. The F40? Loved it. F50...mmm, not sure. Enzo...no. I love them all now. These cars tend to age beautifully.

2

u/JONATHANSWIFT69 10h ago

Same on the F50

3

u/muricaa 14h ago

I’m only saying what I remember from when it came out. If memory serves a lot of people did not like the styling at all. I was a regular on fchat and other forums at the time so that is my source of info.

FWIW I did not like the Enzo when it came out and I now love it.

2

u/Surtr111 14h ago

Allot of people dislike it, it was a radical and uncommon design at the time, i ended loving it, it was that front desing that resembles an F1.

1

u/JONATHANSWIFT69 10h ago

I loved it immediately. You are the first car-lover person I have ever interacted with that has told me they didn’t.

I was kind of shocked to read your comment. (My every word on the Enzo is HIGHLY biased.)I find it hard to choose between the F40 & Enzo as my favorite Ferrari of all time.

1

u/Surtr111 8h ago

I understood later what it meant!

1

u/AldrichUyliong 9h ago

I still don't like the Enzo.

1

u/mrb2409 8h ago

Loads did. The wide F1 nose thing was very controversial.

1

u/VeterinarianTiny7845 5h ago

It’s not bold! It’s current, and that’s the problem here!! A new Fezza would catch us off guard, be different but so obviously a Ferrari. Not the new one, it could be a Hyundai, Kia or more likely a modern Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak!?! The world is currently trending ‘brick’. They should have moved that on.

-3

u/ekhfarharris 1d ago

I remember both Enzo and LaFerrari. The only hate both got were the naming scheme because they deviated from F40 and F50 legacy. A lot thought it should be F60 and F70 especially LaFerrari. The rest is all glowing with praises. Im not sure what hate youre talking about.

9

u/PsychologyAlert7711 1d ago

you thought the 458 was ugly? how the hell is that possible

5

u/AccidentalChef 20h ago

I hated the headlights at first. I got over it. The overall shape always looked great.

2

u/Icy-Fact8432 16h ago

Yes now I love it. A friend had one and loved it even more once I got to ride in it. Crazy that prices have now doubled since

2

u/Rich_Debt_9619 1d ago

Ok I will say what I want, it’s still ugly, and keep getting uglier. It’s so much easier to make a car look “bold” than pretty, isn’t it.

1

u/ToughYesterday9057 11h ago

On with u, didnt like Enzo back then still dont like it now

24

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Damn! Looks worth it. Some are saying it's ugly but this car looks hot!

3

u/willymack989 23h ago

The only thing I’d dislike is the black trim. Otherwise, it’s wonderful. Looks like a great homage to the F40

3

u/saggiolus BB512 23h ago

The more I look at it the more Iike it

3

u/Gullible-Parking-386 22h ago

I think it will age well. Looks so purposeful.

5

u/0-two1hundred 1d ago

This is sick!

14

u/Violet604 1d ago

What happened to Ferrari?

Imagine putting a V12 in their family SUV and a turbo V6 in their flagship car 😂

16

u/Justify-My-Love 1d ago

Tell me you don’t know about Ferrari

Because you clearly don’t

12

u/HeartbeatHorologist 21h ago

Yeah the actual way to frame it is: imagine putting a 2x Le Mans winning technology in the halo car that celebrates Motorsport history and the v12 in the car that’s a continuation of the four seater lineage of Ferraris… in other words, makes perfect sense

3

u/fartymcgeezax 1d ago

I wish it was a v12 but Ferraris 360 degree engine is a huge advancement in auto engineering. Easy to understand why they want to put the latest and greatest in their flagship car. I totally understand the v12 complaint but things are changing :/

1

u/AdShigionoth7502 16h ago

Everything Ferrari is their flagship.

9

u/dopil919 1d ago

Still can’t get used to it.

7

u/After-Lavishness-908 1d ago

Dammmmmm boy, that shit uggglyyyy boyyy

10

u/Fair-Yogurtcloset509 1d ago

Reminds me of a Lego car. Awful design. Never thought id say that about a Ferrari!

2

u/Some-Disaster7050 1d ago

Looks great! Let's hope some fat broccoli head "influencer" doesn't end up in one!

2

u/dead888boy 1d ago

so beautiful

2

u/Solasta713 19h ago

It's an amazing looking car from the rear, up to the windshield. Honestly, top tier.

But then anything from the windshield to the front bumper is just.... No. Oh god no. Why did you do that, Ferrari?!

8

u/Key-Addition-2296 1d ago

Will it go down as one of the ugliest cars of all time?

-2

u/ProvigilandChill 1d ago

It's gorgeous. Looks like a modern 512 with the boxy shape

1

u/dbezzy1010 1d ago

The only thing that irks me is those wheels, straight off a Taycan. When I saw the F80 test mules I was hoping those wouldn't be on the final product.

1

u/Sithiale808 1d ago

I absolutely love how this car looks.

1

u/jessdicri7 1d ago

I like it

1

u/back2me78 1d ago

NICE!!!

1

u/kilometterrr 1d ago

Looks out of this world.

1

u/ylonmontagne 1d ago

Beautiful

1

u/movadolover 1d ago

Emperor’s new clothes and all that. This looks ridiculous.

1

u/CammyPooo 1d ago

Headed to NYC Sunday, do they allow anyone in to check out the cars? Or do you need to be interested in buying?

1

u/ThriftStoreChair 6h ago

I just stopped by they are closed for the holiday. You can only look at the cars through the window.

1

u/blackbirdspyplane 1d ago

There is a certain blind man that would love to take that for a spin.

1

u/yar2000 1d ago

Its starting to grow on me. The sound is still horrendously boring but the car itself will probably age well.

1

u/dwfishee 1d ago

An F1 car for the road. Nice. I’ll take 3.

1

u/digitallytaken 1d ago

Despite it looking better in real life than the press pictures..I cannot help but see this as GTA online car in this design.

Im sorry I love Ferraris growing up. I remember seeing 360 when I was in College, that was piece of art compared to this.

1

u/DeAndr3 1d ago

Ok I love that Ferrari

1

u/wettestmilk 1d ago

Isn’t this on Park av?

1

u/ThriftStoreChair 6h ago

Correct, Park and 55th. It does look really cool in person.

1

u/snowyisland666 1d ago

That thing is ass ugly and friggin awesome at the same time

1

u/albertgt40 1d ago

Ok took some time and needing to see irl pics like these but I like it now

1

u/domcobeo 1d ago

Just found the configurator. 😍 carbon bodied with orange/yellow stripe. Yellow calipers, shields, and interior trim.

1

u/High_Life_Light 1d ago

I don’t love it. Kinda looks like one of those collapsible snow shovels that people use in back country skiing.

1

u/Gd3spoon 22h ago

Aston Martin Valkyrie Is what Ferrari should have gone after. I want to see a true Hyper car. I want to see a v12 f1 inspired Ferrari road car.

1

u/feketebarany 20h ago

Taycan wheels….

1

u/Simple_Argument7482 19h ago

Nice!!

What color is that?

Looks darker than rosso corsa

1

u/sfr777_ 16h ago

Chicken fence in black is an option

1

u/AdShigionoth7502 16h ago

I love it. I can't wait to see someone blackout everything...the ideal batman mobile

1

u/GoldenTiger888 16h ago

If only that black stripe over the headlights was red too.

1

u/ThePandaDaily 14h ago

Still don’t understand that black banner thing on the front.

1

u/ArthurMBretas03 13h ago

Quite like the black bit on the bonnet

1

u/peapodbarry 13h ago

What’s the price for one of these?

1

u/Tarushdei 13h ago

I'm sure I'll look back in 10 years and think differently, but I just can't get on board with this new design language. It's too much of a stretch of the perfect Roma design.

1

u/ChannelLumpy7453 10h ago

It’s like an F40 that got hit by an ugly stick, which happened to be an F50.

1

u/asiandevastation 10h ago

I like it a lot, I think it will grow on people. I didn’t like the Enzo when it came out and grew to love it.

1

u/itz_khai 6h ago

Man I love this car, especially if the wings appeared it looks hella sexy

1

u/Remote-Permission647 5h ago

Whats the price tag for this model ?

0

u/bouncing_bumble 1d ago

Stellar in red. I'd have the front trim color matched and replace the honeycomb grill with some custom carbon louvered alternative but the rest is incredible.

4

u/BreadLover184 1d ago

honeycomb surely serves a purpose rather than a different shape

0

u/bouncing_bumble 1d ago

Nah, looks like chicken wire.

4

u/fartymcgeezax 1d ago

Leave the front trim. That is going to become the signature of this car, it’ll be on every poster (and serves as a tribute to past legendary Ferraris). If you appreciate it you couldn’t live without it

1

u/UnconfidentShirt 1d ago

Wholeheartedly agree.

1

u/Embarrassed_Fennel_1 1d ago

Like the 3th time this car was posted. Is there like a million people in NYC or something?

2

u/Jackr6275 13h ago

I think more like 8 million

-2

u/puffydownjacket 1d ago

Love the design. Hate the styling. That mustache is just awful.

-6

u/vwxyzabcdef 1d ago

Glad I didn’t look at this when I walked past earlier today! Most hideous Ferrari since I can remember

0

u/fartymcgeezax 1d ago

I would hate to see the world through your eyes

0

u/[deleted] 1d ago

Nice car! I wonder what the price is?

2

u/TS040 1d ago

a lot, £3.1 million iirc

0

u/Bitcoin2damoooon 1d ago

it looks like a car out of the movie Tron

0

u/ronsta2 1d ago

Is the outsides of the wheels silver or white? Can’t tell from the pics ?

0

u/ClassroomNo4024 1d ago

The F in Ferrari now stands for Fugly.

0

u/ClassroomNo4024 1d ago

Translates to fucking ugly.

Somehow people have lost their minds thinking these new models look good or will "grow on you".

0

u/Repulsive_Owl5410 1d ago

This car is ugly, period.

0

u/Competitive-Half-831 21h ago

Doesn’t change my mind that this is the worst looking Ferrari of all time.

0

u/Professional-Eye2572 21h ago

F40, F50, Enzo, Laferrari, big red brick.. they butchered the thoroughbred bloodline what a shame. This car is ugly.. every part of it sucks, from the engine to the front bug deflector, to the staggered seating it’s just all bad.

0

u/Let_us_flee 21h ago

what's up with those unimaginative honeycomb grates man

-2

u/deathbygolf 1d ago

This car has so much power; it’s a thrill to drive
