Badass. Say what you want about new Ferraris but I think it’s bold of them to keep innovating. I never like the new models at first but eventually they grow on me. To think that I thought the 360 and 458 were ugly..
They’ll come back around to softer shapes in the future I’m sure. It’s like with iPhones, every other design is either curved or boxy.

Well said. I remember being unsure of LaFerrari and P1 when they came out, and wasn’t a fan of the 458 either. I think the most forward thinking, bold designs are the ones that age better and become iconic.

I remember when people hated the Enzo. It’s the same every new generation.

u/JONATHANSWIFT69 1d ago
No one hated the Enzo.

a lot of people thought it looked weird

I was about when the 288 came out. Loved it. The F40? Loved it. F50...mmm, not sure. Enzo...no. I love them all now. These cars tend to age beautifully.

Allot of people dislike it, it was a radical and uncommon design at the time, i ended loving it, it was that front desing that resembles an F1.

u/JONATHANSWIFT69 10h ago
I loved it immediately. You are the first car-lover person I have ever interacted with that has told me they didn’t.
I was kind of shocked to read your comment. (My every word on the Enzo is HIGHLY biased.)I find it hard to choose between the F40 & Enzo as my favorite Ferrari of all time.

It’s not bold! It’s current, and that’s the problem here!! A new Fezza would catch us off guard, be different but so obviously a Ferrari. Not the new one, it could be a Hyundai, Kia or more likely a modern Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak!?! The world is currently trending ‘brick’. They should have moved that on.

I remember both Enzo and LaFerrari. The only hate both got were the naming scheme because they deviated from F40 and F50 legacy. A lot thought it should be F60 and F70 especially LaFerrari. The rest is all glowing with praises. Im not sure what hate youre talking about.

u/PsychologyAlert7711 1d ago
you thought the 458 was ugly? how the hell is that possible

u/AccidentalChef 20h ago
I hated the headlights at first. I got over it. The overall shape always looked great.

u/Icy-Fact8432 16h ago
Yes now I love it. A friend had one and loved it even more once I got to ride in it. Crazy that prices have now doubled since

u/Rich_Debt_9619 1d ago
Ok I will say what I want, it’s still ugly, and keep getting uglier. It’s so much easier to make a car look “bold” than pretty, isn’t it.

Damn! Looks worth it. Some are saying it's ugly but this car looks hot!

The only thing I’d dislike is the black trim. Otherwise, it’s wonderful. Looks like a great homage to the F40

What happened to Ferrari?
Imagine putting a V12 in their family SUV and a turbo V6 in their flagship car 😂

u/Justify-My-Love 1d ago
Tell me you don’t know about Ferrari
Because you clearly don’t

u/HeartbeatHorologist 21h ago
Yeah the actual way to frame it is: imagine putting a 2x Le Mans winning technology in the halo car that celebrates Motorsport history and the v12 in the car that’s a continuation of the four seater lineage of Ferraris… in other words, makes perfect sense

u/fartymcgeezax 1d ago
I wish it was a v12 but Ferraris 360 degree engine is a huge advancement in auto engineering. Easy to understand why they want to put the latest and greatest in their flagship car. I totally understand the v12 complaint but things are changing :/

Reminds me of a Lego car. Awful design. Never thought id say that about a Ferrari!

Looks great! Let's hope some fat broccoli head "influencer" doesn't end up in one!

It's an amazing looking car from the rear, up to the windshield. Honestly, top tier.
But then anything from the windshield to the front bumper is just.... No. Oh god no. Why did you do that, Ferrari?!

The only thing that irks me is those wheels, straight off a Taycan. When I saw the F80 test mules I was hoping those wouldn't be on the final product.

Headed to NYC Sunday, do they allow anyone in to check out the cars? Or do you need to be interested in buying?

u/ThriftStoreChair 6h ago
I just stopped by they are closed for the holiday. You can only look at the cars through the window.

Despite it looking better in real life than the press pictures..I cannot help but see this as GTA online car in this design.
Im sorry I love Ferraris growing up. I remember seeing 360 when I was in College, that was piece of art compared to this.

Just found the configurator. 😍 carbon bodied with orange/yellow stripe. Yellow calipers, shields, and interior trim.

I don’t love it. Kinda looks like one of those collapsible snow shovels that people use in back country skiing.

Aston Martin Valkyrie Is what Ferrari should have gone after. I want to see a true Hyper car. I want to see a v12 f1 inspired Ferrari road car.

I'm sure I'll look back in 10 years and think differently, but I just can't get on board with this new design language. It's too much of a stretch of the perfect Roma design.

u/ChannelLumpy7453 10h ago
It’s like an F40 that got hit by an ugly stick, which happened to be an F50.

u/asiandevastation 10h ago
I like it a lot, I think it will grow on people. I didn’t like the Enzo when it came out and grew to love it.

Stellar in red. I'd have the front trim color matched and replace the honeycomb grill with some custom carbon louvered alternative but the rest is incredible.

Leave the front trim. That is going to become the signature of this car, it’ll be on every poster (and serves as a tribute to past legendary Ferraris). If you appreciate it you couldn’t live without it

Translates to fucking ugly.
Somehow people have lost their minds thinking these new models look good or will "grow on you".

Doesn’t change my mind that this is the worst looking Ferrari of all time.

u/Professional-Eye2572 21h ago
F40, F50, Enzo, Laferrari, big red brick.. they butchered the thoroughbred bloodline what a shame. This car is ugly.. every part of it sucks, from the engine to the front bug deflector, to the staggered seating it’s just all bad.
