Historic F1/Analysis Was the Renault R25 that Fernando Alonso drove in Abu Dhabi last year the same one that Richard Hammond drove on Top Gear a few years ago?

I think Richard drove the R26 that is the 2006 car and not the R25. Whether it was actually Fernando's or not I don't remember. Edit : I just saw the video and yup he drove the R25 and not the R26.

I'm curious about it too. I mean how many of these retro cars do they keep for exhibitions like this.

at least Alonso has one of each for himself. By contract he request a car he drove to be sent to him each year. He keeps all of them in his museum in Asturias, Spain

Are they his actual racecars? That's an extremely costly bonus if they are runners

yes, they are. He gets one he already used during the championship from each team. I’m not sure if each year, but I think so

Why do you want to know?
Edit: I don't mean this in a malicious or snobby way. It's just a neutral question.

Unrelated fun fact: Gavin from the Slow Mo Guys worked on the shoot with Hammond, and it was Richard who coined the term when he asked "So, you're the slow mo guys?"
