Discussion 24 Ranked is garbage

So I was driving a few hours a day in ranked in the Silver I division and the lobbies were mostly full in the evenings. It was great. This week I’ve been promoted from Silver I to Gold I and the lobbies are empty. Maybe 2 or 3 people. If you drive a completely clean race and don’t win, might as well just retire because you aren’t getting any points, opposite actually - it subtracts points. Shame really because I was having a good time in the silver division.

Anyone else have this experience?

Welcome to EA F1, a shithole going downhill. Go back to 23 or 21 or 20 if you have them. 24 ain't lasting much longer anyway and 25 will probably be worse. Idk why anyone wasted money on 24 tbh, I played the beta version and logged off after 5 minutes.

The best games generally seem to be on odd years except for 20 and 18

Yeah and it seems like everyone in ranked playing on PlayStation has figured out how to bypass the anti cheat. There’s no way some of these players are gaining 10 seconds a lap.

Console cheating is very unlikely if even possible I think. But you're right, ranked has always sucked in F1 games. Any serious racing has to be community organized, open lobbies are just a mess
