Discussion How do you physically communicate with the race engineer?

I'm playing F1 24 on Xbox so no voice frustratingly. I don't understand how I am ment to steer and press the direction down to select an option at the same time. Maybe you can get away with it on the straight? Am I missing something?

There’s an option to control that menu with the right wobbly stick, it’s a godsend. Idk where it is in settings just have a fiddle through and you’ll find it.

I do find it’s easier to communicate on straights though, it’s counter-intuitive to look away from the road long enough to select whatever option when I’m not.

Not the commentor above, but I learned how to press RT using my middle finger, so my index finger is free for RB. I learned this though rocket league

I hear F1 drivers often communicate on straights themselves so they can focus on cornering. So maybe this is a touch of authenticity!

Press d-pad right for me and It's the easiest on a long straight or small turns

How do you turn? You also have to read options and go down and right?

Wdym by Turn? And to go down you use high d-pad and to up low d-pad and B to go to the second page if there is one
