My first game was Grand Prix 4 with 2009 mod. It was epic, great, best. Still playing to this day occasionally.

OMG cannot believe it still I like how people are still playing older F1 games especially legendary ones like gp 4 or F1 2012 11 or 13

Formula One 99. My memory of that game was Murray Walker saying "in pole position, Mika Hakkinen".

Those are some good days of F1. My first is Formula 1 (1996) on ps1. You can check out the gameplay below. Rain physics and tire wear were amazing.

F1 95 for the PS1 still my favourite one with Murray walker doing the voice lines was epic. Class game for the time then after that F1 97 which had epic engine failures were your car pretty much blow up was great aswell.

F1 2020, and I feel like a bunch of other people’s first F1 game too. Honestly, Covid was the best thing to ever happen to the sport in terms of growth.

Microprobe Grand Prix, if we're not talking about officially licensed F1 games. Grand Prix 2 if we are.

And Revs if we're talking Formula cars (it was F3 based).

The first one was Grand Prix 2 on PC. Got Ayrton Senna Racing for SNES almost at the same year. After those, I got F1 1999 or 2000, I can't remember exactly, but I didn't like much, always went back for the ones before. F1 2013, F1 2019, F1 2020, F1 2022 and now F1 2024.

It was F1 06 on the PSP. I remember how much I loved it, and me being a Spanish kid always played as Fernando.

My first proper F1 game besides what was in the arcades was F1GP by Geoff Crammond. I first played it on a 486 (a friend’s PC) and then finally got my own 486 and played it properly and won a 100% race distance full championship. This was in 1995. I first played the game in 1993.

Needless to say, I’m still playing. Did some laps in iRacing yesterday driving the Cadillac GTP and Mclaren 720S. Drove a lot of laps in LMU this week and should enter lots of races in the new year.

I do drive a bit of F1GP more or less once a year. Still amazing considering its age.
