Is this what it means when they say "Green MAGA"?

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '24

I think it means Jill Stein and Donald Trump report to the same boss on the org chart.

u/jethroguardian Oct 04 '24

Ding ding ding.

22

u/WedgeGameSucks Oct 03 '24

Then there’s the tankie lefties that are Blue MAGA. At this point, there should be a flag for them all. The MAGA FLAGA

RGB MAGA

2

u/WedgeGameSucks Oct 04 '24

More like “thanks to RBG MAGA”

7

u/ginger2020 Oct 04 '24

I like the term "Alt left" for these assholes. They're only slightly less anti Semitic than the Alt Right.

6

u/WedgeGameSucks Oct 04 '24

Nah, they’re just as anti-Semitic . Just yesterday I was talking to one who wants the Soviet Union back and for Iran to wipe Israel off the map. So…yeah

I know Stein is bought and paid for, but why do the Greens keep nominating her? Are there so few legit members that anyone can be pushed through?

18

u/TerryYockey Oct 04 '24

Most of her reasons for running are nefarious, but one of them is not - it's so the greens can maintain ballot access for the next election cycle.

The buffoon they ran last time, Howie Hawkins, did so badly (less than half a million votes total, in an election that saw the highest turnout in about a hundred years) that the greens lost ballot access in a lot of states.

Anyone could have seen that coming though - the guy was virtually unknown outside of New York. He was a perennial candidate for virtually every elected office in New York from Governor all the way down to Syracuse common councilor. He ran in at least 25 elections and lost every single time.

feels like support for the Greens always craters the cycle after they cost the Dems an election tbqh

u/smokey9886 Oct 04 '24

So when Leftists fuck around and find out.

2

u/Arya_Flint Oct 05 '24

Funny, innit?

12

u/mochidelight Oct 04 '24

Candidate like Stein is NOTHING new coming out of the Green party. They have consistently behaved like this, at least since Nader: spending most of their time bashing Democrats for not "standing up against the GOP", while secretly using GOP's help and resource to run. Adopting racist, antisemitic conspiracies stemmed from the far-rights.

u/brontosaurus3 Oct 04 '24

In addition to the ballot access purpose that another user pointed out, she's fully consolidated power within the party. All of the chairpersons in the party are Stein loyalists. So at the party meetings and the convention, they set the agenda. There isn't really much of an anti-Stein faction within the party to vote any of the chairpersons out or install their own members within leadership. The party itself is mostly a cult of personality around her.

u/Studds_ Oct 04 '24

Pootin does love his stooges to have cults of personality

55

u/nosotros_road_sodium Oct 03 '24

So who would vote for "I will pardon Trump" when the real Trump is on the ballot? Haha.

30

u/JLCpbfspbfspbfs Oct 03 '24

She needs to be put on blast every time her mask slips.

This is no exception.

37

u/Any-Variation4081 Oct 03 '24

Bc she is a Russian asset just like Trump. Notice no one ever hears anything about her until election time rolls around? She just wants to take votes from dems. She needs to sit down and stfu already

67

u/Currymvp2 Oct 03 '24

i'm confident that stein will do worse than she did in 2016

41

u/Caerris1 Deep State Agent Oct 03 '24

People are pushing back much harder on her now than they were in 2016.

29

u/Currymvp2 Oct 03 '24

That and Trump is no longer "unknown"

10

u/Jefflenious Oct 04 '24

I actually thought people loved her back in 2016

It was Hillary vs Trump and people somehow managed to portray both of them as "equally horrible", that's been Trump's winning strategy so far though, everyone already knows he's awful but he has so much influence over the media he can demonize his opposing candidates to oblivion

Funny how "helped enable Generalissimo Trump to have a trial run at America's expense" can be kind of a stain on your resumé.

4

u/oath2order BIDEN WOULD HAVE WON. Oct 04 '24

She also did worse than she did in 2016, how much lower can she go?

9

u/Currymvp2 Oct 04 '24

She didn't run in 2020; she declined and green party nominated Howie who actually condemned Russia's invasion of Ukraine

6

u/oath2order BIDEN WOULD HAVE WON. Oct 04 '24

o shit that's right

39

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '24

I cannot believe ANYONE is dumb enough to take this utter clown seriously.

15

u/fluff_society Oct 03 '24

I remember some leftists say Biden is going to appease the fascists by pardoning Trump. I wonder what they would think about this

12

u/politicalthrow99 Proud Dark Brandonite Oct 03 '24

Probably call us blue MAGA while wishing they could've been at the Capitol that day to stand up for their president

27

u/politicalthrow99 Proud Dark Brandonite Oct 03 '24

So nice of her to be willing to do that for her coworker

9

u/Impossible_Farmer285 Oct 03 '24

Also the Green Party?

9

u/sir_miraculous Oct 03 '24

We can grill her about this on Tuesday at /politics' AMA.

2

u/Paula_Polestark Oct 04 '24

I’ll get some popcorn! I’m so sick of this Putin bot.

5

u/CrimsonZephyr Dark Brandon Oct 03 '24

4

She two footed the goalkeeper in the process.

6

u/11brooke11 Oct 03 '24

That's right, MAGA. Vote Stein!

11

u/HiFrogMan Oct 03 '24

Didn’t she more or less endorse him already. This isn’t surprising.

Time for the CIA to open a dossier on this Koruptnik if they haven't already.

6

u/Jo-Jo-66- Oct 04 '24

She’s just like Trump.. she won’t go away. Every four years she crawls out of the woodwork and runs for President. Who’s funding her?

3

u/KoalaTulip 🇺🇸 I still believe in the dream 🇺🇸 Oct 04 '24

Funder's name starts with "P" and rhymes with "tootin"

3

She doesn’t deserve to live in Lexington.

4

Russian stooges of a feather and all that

3

u/wut_eva_bish Oct 03 '24

Pure desperation Hail Mary move for Stein.

Way to not be able to read the majority of the country.

She needs to be investigated more thoroughly by the DOJ for her ties to Russia.

4

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '24

If I were president, I would ride a horse inside the White House, so, that’s a cool wish, too, I guess.

5

u/Alienkid Oct 04 '24

Is it really that surprising a Russian operative would be for Trump?

4

u/Ryan_Jonathan_Martin Oct 04 '24

Shill Stein, go to Russia since you like Putin so much.

Oh hey a gif of Jill Stein!

3

u/bgva Oct 03 '24

So now what do the third party voters who think both sides are bad do? I'm not sure whether I should put an /s on this or not...

3

u/clkou Oct 04 '24

They can't help but tell on themselves.

5

Why are we treating her like a legitimate candidate

2

u/supermouse35 Oct 03 '24

Damn, and she was so close! /s

2

u/Darkm000n Oct 03 '24

Ross Ulbricht? That’s pretty awesome, the guy that ran Silk Road (and I believe from SF) but he was doing a better job than SF now. He got an insane amount of time in I believe the Obama era. The TFM crew too. They were all like 20 and were doing a full 20 inside. Ugh. For what. They literally only had mushrooms herbs and stuff on the menu

2

u/thetrueChevy1996 Oct 04 '24

Don’t like her even mire

2

u/poizn_ivy Oct 04 '24

She also said she’s open to pardoning J6ers on that same podcast. Which is a MAGA podcast by the way in case the cat wearing the red cap in the corner didn’t give it away.

2

u/easyslide35 Oct 05 '24

Not a surprise here… she’s always been a useful idiot

She got told by her handlers, “You’re the whole reason Trump won in ‘16, so your dumb ass needs to either sit this one out, or appear to support Trump so no one will make the same mistake they did last time.”
