MAGA needed a reality check. Elon never cared about republicans because he knows they are poorly educated and believe in conspiracy theories. And he knows they are racist so he knew exactly how to temper with their feelings to get what he wants. And the moment he got the power and the access to the resources he wanted, he simply showed who he is, he is not a patriot or some America lover he's literally a businessman that will go to any extent to make sure his business is well.

It's more about some little pipsqueak (Loonie) who mistook hers/his media following for real power when they went against the emperor (Elmo).
He's not only rich, but owns the platform and he was never shy using it.

Exactly. Elon doesn’t care about anything except himself. If he thought Harris becoming president would’ve served his purposes better, he would’ve tried to make that happen instead. That’s not to say he isn’t a racist, but the MAGAs who loved him because they thought he was genuinely fighting for the same conservative values that he was are now mad because they’re realising that he’s ultimately self serving and would throw them all under the bus if it gave him more power.
