Discussion Favorite imperial vehicle?
Mine is a close tie between an AT-AT and a star destroyer, mainly because the ships provoke order, however they are extremely powerful as well.

Discussion You are a Tie Pilot, you must destroy the millennium falcon, how do you do it?
You read it right gents, Im asking, if you were a tie pilot, and had to take on the millennium Falcon, how would you go about it?
Lets say you are working with three other Tie Fighters, so the same amount that tried to bring it down in a New Hope but failed
From what we can tell these were normal tie fighters with standard loadout, they didnt seem to have any proton torpedoes or anything like that, just their blasters
So, Knowing this, How would you lead this squadron? Would it even be possible to bring the falcon down with these ships? If so, what do you think is the best way to go about it?
If its not possible, then would a change in the tie fighters loadouts make any sort of difference?
Edit: the amount of people suggesting ramming into it is making me suspect there are rebel spies among us...

Discussion Are there any moderate Imperials here?
I consider myself a moderate Imperial. I believe in a strong central government and a powerful military lead by a permanent professional officer class.
But I draw the line at vaporizing entire planets. We've tried it half a dozen times and it doesn't work. We could of just vaporized entire non populated systems to their component atoms, sold the minerals, then BOUGHT the entire galaxy. Why this wasn't considered after Yavin I think is proof of a dificency in leadership.
I'm also on the fence about the increase in galactic slavery thing. It seems kinda bad and should be pulled back a bit but not abolished.
Are there any others here that share this point of view?

Discussion Besides Thrawn, who is a commander you would like to serve under.
Veers would be my choice. He is loyal to the Empire and told Vader to change tactics in finding rebels. He personally charged with his walker unit and leading in front. Destroyed the shield generator and survived after his AT-AT was destroyed by speeder crashing into it. He was very loyal and knew how to work with Vader compared to other commanders thinking they are above Vader.

Discussion Stormtrooper aim isn't bad
I'm sorry but I refuse to believe an empire under the emperors command would make them prepared for any climate and give them gear to help them survive even better and just screw over the aim part I don't think having soldiers with bad aim was in the emperors plan.
On a different subject the emperors rule was fair he spent a lot of time planning out a llegal way to rule over the Republic and in the end he did so the rebellion isn't a rebellion to the point they take it there a terrorist force
Edit :I oof spelling

Discussion Would like to report Emperor Palpatine for power abuse.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Normally I wouldn't mind and I know Emperor Palpatine has ultimate powers so he can do whatever he wants in the end but you guys take this seriously so yea.
AND NO I DON'T THINK EMPIRE IS BAD, IN FACT EMPIRE>REBELS
So FAQ says "Second, if you can point to an example of Imperial "slavery" that is not pure Rebel propaganda or that doesn't try to paint criminal elements serving the Empire in restitution for their crimes, please alert your nearest Imperial authority."
According to top sekrit dokimints called "Star Wars: Empire At War" Emperor Palpatine ordered Wookies to be enslaved for construction of Death Star. because of their strength What do you say?

Discussion Debunking the unacceptable rumor concerning the Emperor's personal life
Greetings.
It has to come to my attention that many rebels like to spread rumors about the Empire, some of which are straight up blatant lies and propaganda;nothing out of the ordinary certainly, but one specific theory circulating around the empire recently is one concerning our glorious Emperor's own early life as an attempt to tarnish our reputation;this claim suggests that the Emperor killed his own family (including his parents) when he was a teenager while on board a spaceship. This is a lie;our dear leader would never do something so horrific, and it is even insulting to the Emperor himself, for he remembers his family's deaths during an accident onboard that ship as a traumatic event so framing such an honorable and respectable man for something as depraved as murdering his own family is straight up sickening and insulting.
Thank you for paying attention and do your best to make sure this conspiracy theory based on lies spreads as little as possible.

Discussion Darth Vader iceberg ideas
Hello. I had the idea to make one of those iceberg charts about Darth Vader because I haven't found any online and I'm looking for ideas. Could you give me ideas? Anything from well known to obscure and disturbing. Any source material is good: movies, games, shows, books, comics, websites, etc. You can give me theories, facts, stories, fights or literally anything involving Vader. Also, I would really appreciate it if you also gave a small description, not just the title so the research can be easier. The more ideas the better, I want to make an in depth iceberg. Thank you!

Discussion Which new canon novel or short story do you feel has done the most to flesh out the day-to-day to life of the average Imperial, and why?
I just finished listening to Standard Imperial Procedure in the ESB Certain Point of View collection and I thought it added a lot of life and great little details to what we “know,” so to speak, about life in the Imperial Navy — which in turn reminded me how much Catalyst, some of the stories in the ANH POV collection, Thara Nyende’s chapters in Twilight Company, the academy chapters of Lost Stars, and a lot of the content in Inferno Squadron also add to the picture of daily imperial life. It got me wondering what books or stories everyone else thought painted the richest picture of life under the empire for the characters who were part of, rather than ground down by, the system.
EDIT: Or which is your fave of the one already mentioned and what details/info it provides that you feel really gave you new insight into Imp life. (I just realized I named a lot lol.)
EDIT 2: Thank you for the award kind stranger! 😊

Discussion The Rebels went too far on Endor!
The Empire had done nothing wrong to the sanctuary moon. They deforested at most a square kilometre of forest and seemingly kept it eco-clean as to not disturb the local wildlife.
What do the terrorist rebels do? They arrive, trick the local primitive population to aid them in their unjustified terrorist war against the democratically elected government, its pure exploitation and the Ewoks gain NOTHING from it except fallen Ewoks.
Then, to really hammer home the point that they don’t give a shit about the Ewoks they blow up the shield station causing a gigantic fireball to probably consume several kilometres of forest and cause a wildfire and make hundreds of Ewoks homeless. They could have just disabled the shield or smashed the equipment inside but no! It didn’t matter if the Ewoks died or were injured.
The manner the rebels conscript is horribly evil and exploitative, Luke uses his magical powers to threaten and scare them into submission. It was just a cheap and lousy trick. It wouldn’t surprise me either if Luke just pulled a mind trick on all of them. Brainwashed primitive soldiers! The Empire only had volunteers.
Really shitty behaviour from the so called “heroes”.

Discussion Assistance in the struggle for the Empire
I just found this Subreddit, and I am in love already. I have been preaching from the mountain tops that the Empire are the good guys.
Now, to the point; I need ammunition to defend the Empire from those who would slander it. I already am aware of how Alderaan was harbouring terrorists and how our glorious leader, Sheev, was a perfect man, but other than those few main points, I'm running out of material and no one seems convinced...
So, to give you all a chance to rant and to help my struggle in convincing the Anti-Imperials of the world to see the error of their ways, what arguments do we all have in support of the Empire?
