Done some digging. I think it's only been released in the UK at the moment (Crime + Investigation channel), coming to Netflix later in the year. Found a trailer which should work - https://www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk/shows/i-am-a-killer/videos/i-am-a-killer-trailer. The first ep is fascinating, hoping the rest of the series follows suit

Ok, I just went one better, apparently the sneak peak gives you more than the trailer: https://www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk/shows/i-am-a-killer/articles/i-am-a-killer-sneak-peek

Wtf is it with these 'Video not available' issues? Regional copyright's or what?
Anyone got a mirror please?

Funny how a show about American death row is out in the UK before it is out in the US.

I am assuming everyone on this video has finished their appeal process because otherwise they are fucked.

I'm almost wondering if any of these criminals were coerced into doing the show via promise of money, lawyers advise, court of law, do they get some perk? Less prison time?.?. Is Netflix trying to bring hope into the American justice system? Is Netflix run by Russia? Is the timing of the release supposed to conside with another event occurring in real time? Am I missing the slant? Is this actually 2 sides?
That's about it.

PIA was superior to tunnel bear way before Linus. I'm glad they are getting the publicity though. Good features and a great price for anyone that needs a paid VPN.

You can create your own vpn, but PIA has to operate exit nodes in countries around the world which isn't free.

There is also the fact that they are buisness and need to make a profit

Hey, HeyLookAGinger, just a quick heads-up:
buisness is actually spelled business. You can remember it by begins with busi-.

I don’t have my laptop with me and I can’t find the exact one I use but it’s worked perfectly fine for me so far and i’ve had it for over a year. I too am always skeptical of anything that’s “free” but to be completely honest i’ve had zero problems with it. I don’t use it often so perhaps there’s a limit until it needs to be paid for but as far as I know I don’t have any complaints. If I remember i’ll follow up with a link when I get home. Cheers.

I’ve used this for over a year with 0 problems and totally free. Enjoy!

To reiterate what /u/Logdeah said. If you are not paying for the product then you are the product. Which is a very bad thing when talking about VPNs.

I use an app on my phone, Orbot. I enabled YouTube for VPN and got it to work by setting my location to UK but it would not cast. So i enabled Tubemate for VPN and am currently DL'ing it and will just cast from my phone using a regular casting app. Plus I'll have it downloaded and can toss it on my hard drive for later viewing.

I don't think they're rewarded at all? It's a documentary about how they feel now years after committing their crimes, sure, but if you wanna kill someone and sit in jail for the rest of your life just to get your face on a couple crappy documentaries and maybe a couple fan letters... Go right ahead lol
2
u/Kirkys May 19 '18
Days later geekonthemoon was found dead in what could only be described as a crime of passion. The person who confessed to the murder was gsander3. Who we will interview in 30 years time over how he feels about the crime.

I would say the opportunity to have some activity to participate out of the norm of prison life is a reward
Why?

u/InfernalPlutus May 18 '18
There's a cannibal/murderer in Japan who is famous and a published author.

Tookie Williams founded the Bloods gang. He died a noble peace price recipient. He was worth way more alive than dead but Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't allow clemency. Dude talked a lot of youth out of gang life and would have continued to. I like parts of Arnold but this over rides all that.

Yep, Crips.
Although, heh, I guess Tookie is sort of responsible for the Bloods having formed at all

You can count with one hand the amount of people who have actually become famous off documentaries
Like I can only think of david attenborough

I’d prefer their faces blurred and names omitted. They should not be remembered as people.

u/professorsnack98 May 19 '18 edited May 19 '18
Did you watch the video? The prisoner DID NOT murder anyone.
edit: at the end he does admit for the first time that he pretty much escalated the situation and provoked his friend to get out of the car. Granted he never told his friend "shoot that guy for flipping us off" but he definitely escalated the situation.

I understand what you’re saying. I hate the culture of glorifying murderers. I prefer when the focus is on the victims.

It’s scary how you can watch a person’s account of a situation and form an opinion and feel a certain way about it, to then have it turned completely upside down when you to watch someone else’s account not two minutes later!
