Life After Divorce Not so bad
It's been 6 years. The first year sucked but last couple got better. Now I laugh about it. Theres light at the end of the tunnel

Good to know! It's been 13 months for me and while the grief and other emotions have calmed down, I kind of feel empty and not ready for others. It's such a conflicting feeling.. I crave connection, but I also feel wary of it..

Thanks for this. My husband left me a letter today - didn't even talk to me face to face - that it's over. I wasn't totally blindsided, but it still sucks.

That is awful. So he is just gone after the letter? Hang in there!

Yep. He went back to our hometown (like he did when we seperated 5 years back) so take care of our cat. Which I do pretty much all of anyway but yeah. I got her litter cleaned, put out two bowls or food and water and also came back to our hometown to stay with my brother for a few days.

Boo. I got a follow up email when we seperated 5 years ago, and I just got an email last night from Google letting me know I've been removed from his family (we had picture and storage sharing).
