Liquid =/= digitz

This is Digitz.

Interesting, is Digitz the name of a dance style? I just classified it as Liquid since that's what the OP labeled it as.

yes Digitz is a seperate style. Liquid and Digitz often work together but they are two separate things.

Cool, didn't know that. I will try not to make the same mistake again. Quick question though, what distinguishes Digitz from finger-tutting other than it tending to occur in tandem with Liquid?

finger tutting, while being heavily inspired by digitz, is in essence the act of tutting with your fingers. That is to say you take the dance style "tutting" into a smaller scale. There should be less flow and more rigid stops, clean lines, right angles, etc.

However, most people in practice will borrow from all three styles (liquid, digitz, tutting) just to make it through a set. Nothing wrong with that mind you but it often helps you learn faster if you know the difference.

Gotcha, much thanks for the clarification. Consider my dance knowledge officially expanded!
