I’m a black girl, and this cracked me up... contagious laughter from both parties. She is clearly unbothered af, if you notice the cracked window and her putting the window up mid sentence. But alas, his delivery of the corny pickup line got a laugh, even if the set up was cringeworthy 😬

Same dude that tried to call the cops on Nyjah Huston. Total doucher

4

u/hittingwax Apr 09 '21

awe fuck i thought the clip was okay for a sec :( what did he even call them for on Nyjah? having fun? 😭

3

u/MrKuhlAMG Apr 09 '21

Is this true?

1

u/Weeyom Apr 10 '21

Google Josh Nasar/Nyjah Huston

I will never understand Americans' obsessive focus on pointing out skin colors.

29

u/JustHonestly Apr 09 '21

I mean they even put their race on things like college applications... like, what the fuck man

50

u/LovableContrarian Apr 09 '21

And I'll never understand Reddit's obsession with pretending racism only exists in America.

13

u/newcompetitor Apr 09 '21

Mostly the education system. Essentially modern sociological theory states that to ignore race as a factor is doing a disservice to non-white people. Whether you agree or not that’s a big reason why it keeps being perpetuated

I say the media is the biggest contributer to things like this. That and socal media where people can say things online and nobody k own who typed it.

7

u/Dreadedanomoly Apr 09 '21

Nope, it’s deep rooted

1

u/modifiedchoke Apr 09 '21

Easy, it’s being taught and tolerated.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 13 '21

I will never understand how some people have to find issues when they don't exist.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '21

You don't think racism exists?

Not cringe, just a guy who doesn’t take himself too seriously, if you think either person cringed from this interaction y’all need to practice your social skills.

168

u/[deleted] Apr 08 '21

yeesch, this is cringy

114

u/fistomagico Apr 09 '21

2 people having a fun time fuck so cringey

17

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

People like different stuff I guess. I couldn't make it more than 15 mins through Borat before I was cringing out of my skin. Some people love that shit, idk man.

26

u/Bars-Jack Apr 09 '21

Most people aren't used to positive public moments. And maybe the decades of funny/prank videos have made it normal to just laugh and enjoy people being assholes or weird to other people.

5

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

Tolerance to cringe is a skill, it must be developed spend an hour at r/Cringetopia and stuff like this is genuinely wholesome

29

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

I thought it was cute personally, I wish people would say stuff like this to me rather than what I usually get

8

u/Bars-Jack Apr 09 '21

True. I'd especially appreciate it as a big guy, for whatever reason people tend to just avoid even looking. I feel like the people who find this video cringe just don't like interacting with strangers out of good will or for fun.

3

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

Cringe was making it a race thing mostly.

14

u/Bars-Jack Apr 09 '21

Meh, I just took it as him making fun of the stereotype of white guys. Which isn't the best of jokes but it isn't cringeworthy imo. I didn't see it as him making any 'thing' about it.

u/ilikeyou69 Apr 09 '21

Shut up ho

63

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

Yep full body cringe here especially with the racial thing thrown in.

19

u/wiztastic Apr 08 '21

Well it is from The Tok

2

u/loztriforce Apr 09 '21

I’d say it’s fun cringe where the point is to be a bit stupid to get a laugh outta someone

3

u/brocollirabe Apr 09 '21

"Im just wondering, whats lit like waking up everyday and not being a creeper? "

-5

u/HamishMcdougal Apr 09 '21

So is your face

3

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

The whole sentiment of that comment was me wishing every one was thought of as an equal and I was trying to express that in a funny way. If you think that's "racist as fuck", you must be incredibly sensitive.

13

u/Qritical Apr 09 '21

I’ve seen cringier shit on here that you fuckboys just lapped up, how is this cringey at all?

3

u/helpmefindthismv Apr 09 '21

This is contagious laughter not cringe

3

u/beirch Apr 09 '21

Didn't you know anything that makes me slightly uncomfortable is cringe? I'm 12 btw

3

u/vandist Apr 09 '21

Doomscroll r/Cringetopia for about 40mins watching e everything, come back and watch this, its wholesome.

25

u/cornerstorenewports Apr 09 '21

i hate this shit. this reminds me of "cops can be cool!" videos. you dont need to scare the shit outta someone before saying your stupid bullshit. OMG THEY THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DO VIOLENCE TO THEM BUT I VERBALLY HARASSED THEM INSTEAD LOL

17

u/j0lly_c0mpani0n Apr 09 '21

What part of this is supposed to be "scary" or "harrassement"? Maybe I'm missing something but this just looks like a dude intentionally acting like a corny white guy and giving a woman a compliment to me.

2

u/cornerstorenewports Apr 09 '21

eh i was drunk, but i was referring to the videos where cops pull people over and then like give them ice cream or something

-6

u/Tackerta Apr 09 '21

this right here is good 2010 jokes, sadly the world evolved into a sensitive pile of shit and no one can be genuinely funny and/or corny without triggering SJW left and right (not a political compass pun)

22

u/Big-Pudding-7440 Apr 09 '21

You don't know what 'harassed' means.

1

u/Hour_Reporter_3257 Apr 09 '21

Joker laugh intensifies

Nice guys: "where sex?"

-1

u/EroniusJoe Apr 09 '21

Is that Doug DeMuro?

-35

u/MightyMoosePoop Apr 09 '21

Warning!

I told a guy a big compliment one day, "There's a guy with swagger!"

He did a double-take and was visually upset. It was quite difficult to keep my upbeat tone like the guy in the video while trying to annunciate "S.W.A.G. ger" to that black guy.

16

u/[deleted] Apr 09 '21

What?

2

u/Tackerta Apr 09 '21

I like the stern "Warning!" because everything after that just hurt to read
